Hannah tried out and made both the English & Western IHSA teams as a freshman at Morrisville & is already finding success in the show ring.

I guess riding the variety of sale horses we get through the barn as a working student here really paid off!!

Winston- 14yr, 14h Grey/White Pinto Gelding $4000

The ultimate trail pony! Winston is a steady eddy type on the trail, goes along with his ears forward, and loves the job! He likes to lead, but will follow if other horses have a quicker step than him. Seems very willing to go on his own as well. Crosses ditches, logs, & bridges easily and will cross water if necessary. I think just about anyone that can sit on his back can get along with him to ride down the trail! Winston will also walk/trot/lope both leads around the arena, but it takes a little more of a rider to make him do his job in the ring. Beginner friendly on the trail, and currently works great for our intermediate lesson kids in the ring. A useful guy either way! Winston is barefoot and sound. Can be turned out in a group or on his own. Easy to groom, bathe, tack, loads, & hauls well. A nice all around boy that we love- scoop him up before I decide to keep him for camp!

This mare is so easy to get along with, you can ride her ba****ck or backwards (see pics and video). She has a ranch brand and her hip and shipped in from out west. She will neckrein, walk, jog, and lope both leads. Jane loves to trail ride- goes where you point her, over or through anything with company or on her own. Out on the trail is her happy place! We have used her to take out green and unsure horses and she is always a steady eddy. Jane will also work in the arena. She is a sweetheart, easy to work around and a pleasure to have in the barn, doesn’t act like a mare. Pins her ears sometimes but don’t let her looks fool you, she is an all around nice horse that should suit any rider.

This guy lives up to his name, so friendly, just wants to be your Buddy! Comes right up to the fence for scratches, not your typical aloof donkey, he likes attention! Buddy has lived with all types of livestock & is a good guardian/companion. He is an intact jack, could be used to breed jennys or gelded. Just had his feet done for the first time in quite some time, and he was well behaved for the farrier. Leads like a donkey. A sweetheart that wants people who will give him lots of loving!

This guy has been our personal herd sire for the past three years, but we are keeping some of his daughters this year so it’s time to change things up. He knows he’s a jack when there are ladies present, but he is very manageable & an all around good boy. Perfectly well behaved when on his own. Leads like a typical donkey. Has been turned out with his babies, goats, sheep, and cows with no issues. Use him to breed your jennys or have him as a pet. Good colored cool dude!

The cutest little mule! Alphie has been turned out as a pasture mate to a horse for the past couple years. He’s an excellent companion. Leads pretty well, ties, and fairly good to work around. Gets better the more attention you give him! We think he’d make a super driving prospect with his looks & moves! Just had his feet trimmed for the first time in quite a while, could use a little work on picking his feet up & should be looking good after one more trim. Neat guy that is ready to be a companion or more with some training!

Here’s a young horse that’s got a quiet way of going and acts like an old man! TC has no desire to go anywhere fast. He will walk, jog, and lope both leads with a push. Has been ridden under both western and English tack, in the arena and down the trail. He will do any job you give him willingly. Gets along with everyone in turnout, easy to catch, groom, and tack. Loads and hauls with no issue. Currently wears front shoes. Stocky built and an easy keeper, in your pocket kind of guy. Nice young horse with a whole life ahead of him.

Cute young pony that was just started under saddle. Piper has all the qualities to make a super kids pony with miles. She had a handful of rides with a teenager following other horses down the trail this summer, and is now in a program here furthering her education with a professional. She is very quiet to ride and sensible to work around. Currently figuring out walk/trotting and steering, has good brakes. Adorable mover, good brain, and the perfect size to make up for the kids. Easy to get along with, just needs miles under saddle. Priced in the lower four figures, price to increase as progress continues!

🌟 CAMP HORSES FOR LEASE ONLY 🌟

We have several/ponies horses available for paid lease through June 1, 2025. These are horses that work summer camp (June - August) but wouldn’t mind having jobs doing lessons or trail rides for the off season! Would lease for the full time frame or consider shorter options (ex Fall hunt/trail ride season).

They are available for LEASE ONLY, local preferred or you ship. Great option if someone has a lesson horse that needs a break or an affordable extra! PM me if interested in more details.

Misty- Teenage Grey Mare. Has done camp for several years, a favorite for the beginners. Great walk/trot horse, arena and trails.

Maggie- Teenage Morgan Mare. Sports car type! Forward and fun. Worked camp and did hack horse trail ride job last off season. Fun mare.

Darcy- Chunky Medium Pony. Rides english & western, arena & trails. Jumps too!

Ebony- Medium Pony Gelding. Super cute walk/trot/canter easy. Bold little jumper pony.

Red Jack- Teenage QH Cross Gelding. Loves to trail ride.

This is an outstanding big young horse that we could see going in many different directions. Jack rides walk, trot, canter. He is a good mover for a heavy horse. He will go around the arena and loves to trail ride too. Goes confidently wherever we have pointed him, seems willing to ride out on his own or with friends. Has also been free-lunged over a few fences and is learning. Jack is also broke to drive, although we haven't personally hooked him, you can see him driving down the road in his video. We could see Jack going to the hunt field, lower level dressage, pulling a carriage, or making an awesome trail riding partner. He would be the perfect horse for a hack stable as he is built to carry any rider but not super tall! Jack is young and still a little green, but has no bad habits under saddle. He is a big dude with personality! Jack is currently barefoot and UTD with farrier. Lifts his feet pretty well for a drafty boy and should not need stocks. Jack currently turns out with a group of geldings and is playful in the pasture. Comes right to the gate when you call his name and is very in your pocket. Loads and hauls well. This is an exceptionally cool young horse!

This is one of our favorite horses in the barn right now! Paris is well broke and very enjoyable to ride. She will walk, trot, and canter both leads with good brakes. She is responsive to your aids and tries very hard to please. Paris goes nicely under western or English tack, enjoys working in the arena or heading down the trail. She is a true all around horse. Paris is wonderful to have in the barn, you’ll never know she is a mare. Turns out with a group or on her own, not attached to other horses, easy to catch, groom and tack, loads and hauls well too. She has also been pastured with cattle with no issues. Paris is sound and currently wears front shoes. This is a lovely mare that most any rider will appreciate!
