The little ballerina is back and looking as cute as ever! 🤩 This group of fivesome always steal the show with their goofy antics. 🤪 Rocky and Digger came to us back in early 2017, Digger was about 6yo and Rocky about 2 yo.
Years later Jazzy, Cooper and Seymour came along, and we have been a part of their lives ever since they were pups and a kitten. It has been a heart-warming experience watching them ALL grow up! ✨💜 We enjoy creating lasting bonds with our furry friends and their parents!

Do you all remember Louie and Murphy? 🤔 Murphy is a diabetic pup that needs his insulin shots daily. 💉💊We have been watching these boys for about 3 ½ years now. They are such a joy to spend time with! ✨One day it had been raining and we dried the boys off and thought this would make a cute picture. 😘

We would like to give a warm welcome to Sailor and Nepolean to the family.✨ These two Dachshund’s are our first boarders! 👏Amrita contacted us from out of state looking to board their animals while they had a day adventure with their sons’ sports team. Sailor and Nepolean enjoyed a day filled with walks and cuddles. ❤

You all have met Juniper, but I would like to introduce 📣 her sister Mila to the family. Juniper and Mila🐈‍⬛ have two homes, one is here close by, and one is in Lansing. Recently Mom brought Mila here for me to look after. Within a few minutes of meeting each other Mila and I were friends. 🫶After taking Juniper out to play ball we go back to get a drink, and I call Mila. Mila will come out for some love ❤and play time. I love the look on Juniper's face, it speaks true joy!!! Super great girls and I enjoy the time with them. 🥰

*UPDATE*🥳👰‍♀️🤴What a beautiful wedding day!! Thankfully it rained 🌦a little before the wedding and after, but not during the ⛅️ceremony!! They had the most beautiful wedding combined with a beautiful horse, an Owl, great food, laughter and most of all LOVE! I'm so happy for my son Paul and his bride Trishia. We now have "7" beautiful Grand kids. 🫶✨Yes that's right "7"!! I love you all so much ❤️

Thoughts on flea medications. 🤔In the past 3 months or so, I have had several clients that have had side effects from flea medications. Everything from chemical burns to seizures. 😞 My client has a healthy 4 yo dog, no medical issues that suddenly had a seizure. He took her to the vet, and they could not find anything wrong with her.🐕 The vet believes it could be a side effect from flea medication. I have also had an issue with a chemical burn on my own cat. Have any of you 🧐experienced strange things occurring with your animals at one point or another? I would love to hear from you. 🫵

We had the pleasure of visiting Cappy, Bailey and the chickens! 🤩Bailey is a cattle dog / Australian Shephard mix and is a high energy pup! 🐾🐕 He requires a lot of playtime, puzzles and different things to keep him occupied. We enjoy the time we get to spent with these boys and to be able to spoil them! 💞

Vegan Pumpkin Dog Treats
Are you looking for a homemade dog treat? Try this simple 4-ingredient dog treat, it is easy to make, inexpensive and much healthier than store bought.
Here is the recipe:
¾ Cup pumpkin puree
¼ Cup peanut butter NOTE: make sure your peanut butter does not contain Xylitol.
2 tbsp ground flax meal NOTE: if you don’t have oat flour you can use rolled oats and blend in a high speed blender until it forms a flour consistency
1 1/3 cups oat flour
½ tsp cinnamon optional

Instructions
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 F.

2. Add the pumpkin puree, peanut butter, flax meal and cinnamon (if using) into a food processor and blend until combined.

3. Add in the oat flour and process until a dough forms.

4. Lightly flour a cutting board and roll out the dough (around 1/4 inch thick). Use cookie cutters to cut as many pieces as you can and place them onto a parchment lined baking tray. Gather the remaining dough and repeat until you run out of dough.

5. Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes. Let them cool on a cooling rack and them store in the fridge for 1 week or freezer for 2 months.

We love a frozen treat in the summer 🌞and so does your dog! 🐕How about frozen watermelon treats for Fido? It contains lots of vitamins and fiber and since it’s comprised of 92% water it’s low in calories. Remember, as with any treat’s moderation is key. Although watermelon is low in calories they do add up, and introducing your dog to any new food can cause stomach issues.
Here is a recipe:
One quarter of a seedless watermelon🍉 (3 cups worth) You can use more or less depending on how many treats you want to end up with. One quarter of a watermelon will fill two ice cube trays, making 28 individual treats.
And the reason you want to use seedless watermelon is because the seeds themselves can cause a blockage i your dog’s digestive tract (the rind can also cause diarrhea).
Instructions
• Chop up your seedless watermelon into cubes.
• Put the watermelon cubes in the blender
• Mix the cubes in the blender until they’re the consistency of a smoothie.
• Pour the liquid into your ice cube tray.
• Freeze for 3 hours.

𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙙𝙤 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙜𝙨 𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙞𝙧𝙩?
“What the heck do you have in your mouth?” is something all of us are familiar with, as we chase our dog around trying to figure out what they’ve gotten into this time.

The most common causes for dogs eating dirt are mineral deficiencies, medical issues, boredom and/or behavioral issues.

Not all dog foods are the same, and not all foods provide the same level of nutrients for your dog, and dogs with hormonal issues might have trouble absorbing all the minerals and nutrients they need.
If your dogs diet is lacking any minerals they might start eating dirt as a way to make up for those 𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙨. Since dietary deficiencies aren’t necessarily easy to recognize you should take a 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙥 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙫𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙛𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙨.
They’ll be able to rule out other medical issues for the dirt eating, as well as recommend a food brand or diet that can help make up for those nutrient deficiencies.

𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙤𝙢 𝙤𝙧 𝘽𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙜𝙨 𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙞𝙧𝙩.
If you don’t give your dog enough physical and mental exercise throughout the day they will come up with their own solutions to burn off that energy, and it often includes eating and chewing on all sorts of things.
Try adding more 𝙥𝙝𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙚𝙭𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙚 to your dogs daily routine, we recommend walks, flirt pole, game of fetch, or frisbee. If you suspect your dog needs more mental stimulation you can try Kong stuffing, trick training and daily walks allowing them to sniff more on the walk.
