I don't know of an app that checks pet sitting licenses. Here in Colorado it is very easy to find on https://www.sos.state.co.us/biz/BusinessEntityCriteriaExt.do

You can also request a copy of the sitter's license as well as their insurance.

Don't be afraid to ask! This is your home and your furry family member. 😁
