Crossroads Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary practice. We have been serving the local community with veterinarian care for over 10 years. Crossroads has over 20 years combined experience between Dr. Nelson and Dr. Odom. We provide many services such as: Annual exams and vaccinations, puppy/kitten wellness exams, diagnostic testing, x-rays and sonography. Crossroads Animal Hospital is eq

uipped with a surgery suite for routine spay and neuters and most other surgical needs. We also provide dental care to keep your pets oral hygiene at its best. 🦃 Pet Safety Tips: Happy Thanksgiving! 🧡

Happy Thanksgiving from Crossroads Animal Hospital! 🐾 We're so grateful for our amazing pet families, and we want to help ensure everyone has a safe and happy holiday. While those festive foods smell delicious, they can be dangerous for our furry friends. 🙅‍♀️

Here are a few quick tips to keep your dogs and cats safe this Thanksgiving:
• No Table Scraps! 🚫 Bones, fatty foods, onions, garlic, and even some spices can cause serious upset stomachs or worse. Stick to their regular diet.
• Secure the Trash 🗑️: Turkey carcasses and food wrappers are irresistible (and dangerous!) to curious noses. Make sure your trash is pet-proofed!
• Watch the Decor 🔥: Keep candles, festive plants, electrical wires, and decorations out of paw's reach.
• Give Them a Safe Space 🏡: If you have guests, consider giving your pet a quiet room with their favorite bed, toys, and fresh water to relax away from the hustle and bustle.
• Know What's Toxic 🍎: Grapes/raisins, chocolate, alcohol, and xylitol (found in some sugar-free items) are big no-nos for both cats and dogs.
