Hot Take Thursday: Sometimes we have to put our horses through very uncomfortable things that way the uncomfortable becomes comfortable 💥
📌 When the owner dropped this guy off, he let us know that he didn’t too much care for crossing water. Once we have a feel for a new arrival, we start on the uncomfortable. This poly sheet was used to mimic “crossing water.” After about 15 minutes this guy decided standing on top of it at a stop was easier than trying to jump, turn back, or run through it! We LOVE to see this kind of progress, and next session we will work on crossing under saddle 💪🏼
