We raised a son out of our late Black Splash (SW1) Stallion "SMOKINGPEPTO) who is Black and Homozygous for the Splash 1 gene. Our up and coming stallion is a palomino Splash 1 by Smart And Shiney

out of a Smart Chic Olena daughter. We concentrate on modern splash bloodlines within our broodmare band. If you are looking to add a little color to your program we can offer a new source for Splash genetics. The disposition of our stallions and broodmares are by far some of the best I’ve been around. Sorry I haven’t been able to post much! We have been trying to keep our heads above water…literally 😂🙈 It’s rained everyday for a good solid 3 weeks. We got nearly 5 inches of rain. Today, the sun is shining so I turned a few out to my small grass pasture while we await preg checks. Tommy was happy to have room to stretch his legs and run! What a beautiful, athletic colt he is ! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 By Gangster out of Izzy

Our prayers have been answered! More rain, more rain and then some more rain! Hopefully it kills the grasshopper eggs!! Everyone is in the corral still while letting the grass grow and for breeding. I keep an alfalfa hay round bale in the feeder but between rains I disperse out piles of grass mix. My darling Diva (by Gangster…first day we thought of Angel for her name but it quickly changed!)is more excited than her momma Stella who is 21. 😂 This sassy pants thinks…..well….knows she OWNS the WORLD and she is only 3 weeks old .

🔥🔥Just tonight I decided on a name for this beautiful colt! 🔥🔥 A friend stopped by this morning and I ran a few names by her and she liked Zorro. I still wasn’t sure so I went out this evening to watch the foals play and he confirmed his name shall be ZORRO! ***Watch video to the end *** Thank you everyone for your suggestions!!

Congratulations Amy Thompson on her first foal of the year! A DARLING Bay Dun Roan 1/2 Welsh pony 1/2 AQHA colt! Check out that darling head and big brown eyes! ❤️ She bred her CD Olena/Smart Chic Olena bred mare to a Welsh Pony Stallion for a family keeper prospect for the girls! He is absolutely THE CUTEST and SWEETEST little fellow ever! Amy is so pleased she will be doing mores crosses like this. 🤩

Brantley is a gentle, kind, patient soul with animals. 💕 Every year she has been able to handle every single foal Amy and I have. This is the first day Queen has been ready for some lovins. ❤️

Turned out the 2 yearlings “LUNA” (Friesian filly) and “JAZMINE” (Clyde/Perch filly) out in the hills for a little bit before their ground driving training starts. So good for them to get out and stretch their legs. Luna decided to show off her SPECTACULAR trot!! 🥰🥰🥰

💕✨LUNA and JAZMINE✨💕 It is truly hard to believe that Luna (Baroque style Friesian) and Jazmine (Percheron/Clydesdale X) are just yearlings! They have really grown. We are excited to start ground driving them this fall.....just to get them used to a harness before they get so tall! 😳 We feel so blessed to have these 2 part of our program. Can’t wait to share their journey with everyone!
