The Moore Animal Shelter will be closed Saturday, November 9, Sunday, November 10 & Monday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. For After Hours Emergencies, Call 911.

It’s getting cold out there. Please be kind to opossums. Many of them need to find a cozy place to combat the cold. (so many we see are missing parts of tails, ears and toes due to previous frost bite) and your garage or porch may be the only place they can find to bed down and overwinter, believe me, they won’t hurt anything. And know this, shooing them out may be certain death due to lack of shelter. They are Northern America’s ONLY marsupial. And these precious souls are also of service because of their innate penchant for fleas, ticks and other pests, that our beloved fur babies come into contact with on a regular basis.
Please, this holiday season, be kind. Be the change you wish to see in the world.💚

Happy that 4 of the 6 kittens I fostered were adopted Saturday from the Moore Animal Shelter. Boo, Jinx, Salem and Charlie now have forever families. 💕🐈
