We can say we haven’t had a typical snow day here. Miss Josie delivered 8 healthy new babies to us. Some cream and some yellow. She had 6 boys and 2 girls. I didn’t take a group photo, but will tomorrow or Sunday. She is completely wiped out and is resting and bonding with her new little loves.

As a professional and compassionate breeder you always look for ways to improve! We found just that!! We will be incorporating in our next litters, ENS training to our puppies! You ask, what’s ENS training. Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) is a process that introduces mild stresses to very young puppies in a controlled way. These stresses help stimulate the neurological system which improves the growth and development of the pup’s immune system, cardiovascular system, and stress tolerance. This training is completely SAFE!!

Coal is now a bird hunter!! He went out with the boys yesterday and was successful!! We are very proud of him!! His granddaddy was a champion bird dog in his prime! It looks like he is carrying on with his genetics! Thanks Shawn and Elise for your dedication to Coal!

Miss Sophie looks like she REALLY enjoyed herself at the dog park. That was her first time going with her family! I even hear baths had to be given afterwards! That’s when you know you have had a GREAT time! 🐾🐶

And that is a wrap!! We delivered the last two remaining pups from Mollie and Finn’s litter to some special families today. Although, we will miss these two and have missed the others, we are glad to have a much needed break until our spring/summer litters arrive. All of us would like to wish our Stoker Lick family, fans and friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Coal was spoiled by his parents today for his 3rd birthday! I mean, could this not be any more adorable?! This makes our hearts swell with love and pride that one of pups gets this kind of love and attention. This is why we just don’t let anyone “adopt” our pups. We want all of our pups to be loved and cared for. We don’t raise dogs just to do it, we do it because of this!! Happy birthday Coal! ❤️🐶🎂🎉🎈

I’m getting some spoiling in with the last two remaining pups until they go to their furever homes. My hubby was the camera man and the distraction while I cleaned. We sure are going to miss them but knowing they are going to great families makes this all worth the while.

We have given Jake and Josie new names. Double trouble! They are so adorable that you can’t stay upset with them for too long. They both have mastered escaping very well we might add!
