Iredell County Animal Control Debuts Microchip Station's County Wide.

We told you about the microchip stations throughout the county, now to show you what they look like.

Lead Investigator Goforth poses here with the one located at our shelter.

Should you find a stray animal throughout the county, we urge you to utilize on the the four stations in varied locations, to scan for a microchip.

They are located at the Government Center South in Mooresville, Troutman at the library on West Church Street, Harmony Branch Library on Harmony Highway and here.

The stations are fully equipped with scanner and instructions! If you use one of the stations and would like to help us promote them and encourage others to use them, please take a picture of yourself (or a loved one) at the station and send it to our FB Messenger to be shared on our FB.

You can help find lost pets by helping us promote these stations and by sharing yourself using them! These are all made possible thanks to a grant from PetCo Love!! Tag yourself also using the and hashtags.

Please remember we close at 5:00. Now with school starting back, we all have children with after school things going on and we MUST leave by 5:00. So please make sure you give yourself enough time to get to the shop, we all know how crazy the traffic is in Troutman and Mooresville. Some days we will need to close early, but we always try to give you a heads up on those days. Thanks for understanding.

We are excited to share with you that we are partnering with Community Pets Mobile Veterinary Clinic for an on-site LOW-COST mobile clinic with limited services offered for a one day only clinic (please see attached flier for list of services offered for this clinic).
All dogs must be leashed and all cats must be in carriers, with one cat per carrier. No appointment required, walk-up only!
There are NO additional services offered at this clinic outside of what is listed.
**Please note that the microchips are for Iredell County residents only.**
Please know that the clinic will accept cash/Visa/MC with cash being the preferred method of payment.

SHE HAS A HOME!

This sweet loving little girl needs a home. A client has to get rid of her due to an unforeseen circumstance. She is 11 months old, very sweet, snuggly and playful. The owner said she is a bit of an alpha so she may need to be the only dog in the home. Good with kids. Please let me know if anyone is interested. If I didn’t have 3 dogs already, I would take her in a heartbeat!!

This little boy needs a home so they dont have to take him to animal control. Unsure of exact details regarding his situation. Heartworm positive, up to date on vx, neutered, 9 yrs old. Medical treatment is being covered by a rescue, he just needs a home or foster.
