As we end Vet Tech Appreciation week, we just want to take a moment to thank THE BEST vet tech crew there is….OURS!! We have an amazing group of people who we can never thank enough for doing what they do everyday!! We love our vet techs!!

For anyone looking to help please consider donating!!!! This is one of our clients!!

So far we have sent about 8 trucks of supplies of water, food, diapers, adult diapers, etc. that have been delivered. I purchased and sent to WNC approximately 100 gallons of gas for chainsaws, generators and other equipment.

I am currently working on about 200-300 individual sealed bags/kits that consist of female personal products, first aid products, small flashlights, individually wrapped medicine, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, body wipes, hand sanitizers and individual packet of water that is ready to drink and use immediately. I am also putting together individual sealed bags for the animals, dog food, cat food and small animal food.

Unfortunately, we are seeing first hand that the smaller areas haven't had any help except from individuals at this point so there is still a great need for many items. We will be taking a load into new areas again starting next week.

Say hello (again) to Dallas! He is still looking for his forever home. We can't understand how this kid hasn't had any interest. Thankfully he has been in foster care for OVER A YEAR with one of our amazing kennel staff and her husband (who also happen to be his trainers).

Dallas is a happy go lucky 6 year old,Heinz 57 who loves snuggles and belly rubs on the couch. He has quite a goofy side to him and when he gets the Zoomies he is pretty comical! For the most part though he is happy just hanging out and taking naps in the sun. Chewing on antlers and playing with his stuffed animals are something he enjoys a lot.

Dallas would be best as an only pet in the house as he can get uncomfortable around other dogs. A fenced yard would great but not a must if the home is a fit. Finding a person or family he can trust, feel safe with and who can provide structure is key for this little guy.

Dallas knows all his basic commands and does great on a leash when on a walk. He enjoys a car ride and recently went on a roadtrip with his foster dad. He enjoyed camping and experiencing new things. Training to help Dallas adjust to his new home will be provide at no cost by his foster dad to ensure the success of his adoption. We don't ever want Dallas to be disappointed again.

A few days ago we took in a very SWEET, very sick boy named Scar ❤️. We are currently working very hard to get him healthy so he can find a new home. We want to shout out a HUGE thank you to Dr. Pierce and Denver Animal Emergency for seeing him today for an ultrasound. It takes a village sometimes and we are lucky to have them in ours!

This sweet boy was found this afternoon on Stutts road in Mooresville. He did not have any tags on.

💕🐾Valentine’s Day Success Story🐾💕

Shelley and her family have been feeding George, who was a stray cat hanging around near their house for a few weeks. After no luck with posting him online and checking with people in the community, she brought him to the office today for a check up. We found that George had a microchip and was owned, and he had been missing from his family. George had traveled a long way from home and he had been missing since Thanksgiving! They were extremely surprised and thankful when we called to say that he was here and safe.
Please make sure that your pet has a microchip, and that it is updated! Microchips are a great way to make sure that your pet can find its way home like George!
