Beth hails from nearby Lincoln County and is a retired clinical social worker. All team members go through a background check, extensive training with us and Pet Tech Pet First Aid and CPR training. We are committed to providing the best possible care for your fur babies, feathered friends and fish. We participate in continuing education on a regular basis. Mickey's mischievous dog, Miss Heidi Klum, suffered an emergency a few days ago. She was septic and had surgery. Unfortunately the surgery was not successful and she passed. Heidi's passing is on the heels of Mickey's choice to say goodbye to Cracker, a 15 year old dog. Miss Heidi Klum wasn't even two years old yet.

I've known Mickey for a long time through Facebook. We bonded over her silly little Muppie and of course Cracker. And we can't forget Mike the bird and of course Miss Sundae Times. Fortunately Sundae and Mike are still with her. Muppie also died young in an emergency situation.

So, if you are inclined please support her GoFundMe. And if you can't please pray for peace for Mickey. Thanks!

That's our Millie Mae!!!

This is 8-year-old Millie on her ride to her forever home this weekend! 🧡 Millie's new mom Beth spotted Millie on foster mom Becca's page and was drawn. But.... Millie would need to get along with the resident cat. Becca luckily has a neighbor with a cat who loves the Brittany fosters and is always up for doing a cat test through the storm door. Millie passed with flying colors, and three days later she was headed HOME! 🏡

Here's some photos of our sweet Daisy Mae. We've been in the mountains with her this weekend. When we get home I will take her for a walkie at Bellingham Park. I hope we see a bunny.

Tomorrow she goes over the 🌈 Bridge. She has cancer 3 years ago. She had surgery and radiation and got three years.

Daisy Mae here. Please don't weep for me. I'm 11 and have had the bestest life with my hoo persons. I came to them from the National Bruttany Rescue and Adoption Network when I was approximately 1 year old. I had a miraculous save from the Caldwell County Shelter. They didn't recognize me as a Brittany and had posted me on line as a Spaniel mix. A lady who did lots of dog transports up north saw the picture of me and instantly recognized me as a Brittany. She contacted Welch and she picked me up from the shelter that evening.....hours before I was scheduled for euthanasia.

Right about that time my brother, Beau. who I never knew had gone to Rainbow Bridge. My hoo parents had planned to wait about a year before adopting but Luke (my Springer Spaniel brother) was desolate. He and Beau were a bonded pair. Mommyhoo had to hand feed him to get to eat.

So, they applied to NBRAN at the same time I went into foster care. They came to meet me and right away said they wanted me. As soon as Momma Cassie got me spayed and a few toofers cleaned and I healed I went home with them for good.

So you see I've been saved twice. So don't weep for me, celebrate that I was here.

#Followourjourney. Here we are in our 5k yesterday. Daisy Mae and I came in in 2nd place. Don't get too excited....in the Female Masters with a Dog LOL. We finished in a little more than 55 minutes. Considering that my best 5 years ago was 47 minutes and that was pre ankle injury, knee injury and last week's broken toe we will take it!!

Saturday night at the Mac and Cheese Cookoff at Merinos. It's a lively crowd pumped on carbs.

Daisy Mae, Luke and Mom finishing up Training Tuesday. We came upon the start of the MSHS baseball game against North Meck.

Our Springers enjoyed a few days exploring Hot Springs, NC. Where do your dogs like to visit?

There's nothing like pet sitting in the snow in the South.
