Flossie is showing signs of what I believe may be Kennel Cough. With her upset belly and now cough we think it’s best to have her seen.
Flossie started having coughing fits this morning. I believe it’s kennel cough but I’d feel a lot better if she was seen. If you feel lead to contribute to her care check out our pinned post!

Flossie has joined us!
We officially have Flossie. She appears to have had a couple litters of puppies but that’s all in the past. We are gonna get this girl spayed and vetted asap. Full bellies and toys! This is what they decided to do this morning after breakfast. They make our world spin. In a short while we’ll be adding another chi to the mix. I told Zach today that they just find me lol. Thanks to y’all’s gracious generosity we have been able to vet Claudia, Luke, and Ray. Next on the agenda is vetting Lilly and Flossie! Both will need spays and a yearly.❤️❤️

A little throw back to the first time Ray barked orders at me. She was being extra clingy this particular morning. I laid a towel out for her in the bathroom so she could sit with me as I got ready. Legend has it that she hasn’t stopped bossing her caregiver around since.
**The back leg stuck straight out is the leg that has us all so worried. We are still hopeful for recovery and monitoring. **

Just when I thought she couldn’t get any cuter she started using her toy as a pacifier. After seeing her do this of course I had to read about it. I came up with it is simply soothing to her. How sweet! 🐾🐾

Ms. Claudia is trying to figure out why her bed feels a little different. No one tell her I snuck a mattress protector & sheet on her bed while she wasn’t looking. She gets embarrassed that she has accidents in the bed. 🤫🤫We want to thank our friend for the mattress protectors! These will allow us to get more use out of our beds.
Ms. Claudia has thyroid problems, very few teeth, elephant skin,cauliflower ears, and is half blind/deaf. Her previous rescue did a GREAT job nursing her back to health but she will always have on going health issues. She was pulled from MAS as a senior with hardly any hair. She was suffering from a skin infection and dental infection. We are so thankful they pulled her and she found her way to us.
Claudia is spunky, sassy, VOCAL, and so much more. She truly is a special girl. She plays a large role here at MSS. She is 12+ years old but we believe that only means she is wiser!
