We still need a couple more cans of wet food! Flossie, Ray, Luke, bubba, and Pebbles eat this food. We have lots of hungry little mouths to feed. Our funds are also low so we’d be very appreciative for any help with feeding these babies.

We have our info below. Our wishlist is “pinned” at the top of our page. We also don’t mind picking up at any store in Tupelo, Ms weather permitting.

Happy pupdate: Molly made it safely to her rescue and foster. ❤️

Meet Molly! She’s a tiny senior. She will be staying the night at the sanctuary and will head to her rescue tomorrow. We are fortunate to be apart of her story. She is soooo incredibly sweet. Thank you to the rescue who is taking her and ensuring she finds the perfect home. 💕

We have been preparing for possible snow. The south shuts down when we have snow because our roads are not treated and frankly we aren’t prepared like the north. At least Mississippi does lol. We’ve gotten all the babies medicine refilled. Put clean sweaters on the tiny babies for extra warmth. Pulled out the doggy heating pad (designed for dogs, it’s safe). We have a good amount of kibble and wet food but could always use more! 😊 We are still working on the mountain of laundry. We are going to fill up some pitchers with water just in case. With so many babies in our care we’d rather be over prepared. Any of our northern peeps have any advice?

Flossie and I are supposed to be folding doggy laundry but instead we decided to take a break and just lay on it. The chores keep us so busy at times we forget to just slow down and enjoy them. Flossie has bad legs. Sometimes she looks funny because of it but we love her anyway. Flossie Belle is the best. ❤️

Our babies sure did because of their sponsors. Thank you so, so much. The G. family who love the chis dearly sponsored them and spoiled them rotten. Luke loves his new bed. We may never see him again lol. Thank you so much G. family. Ms. Maddie also sent the chis a couple things and sponsored Lilly. Lilly loves her toys! Thank you both very much and those that sponsored our other babies too! It was a very exciting morning at the sanctuary.

Update: Dr. J believes it is just an infection. They checked him over very good. He is heartworm negative thank goodness. His little heart sounded good and his physical exam checked out. I am so relieved. He will start different medication after his evening meal today! We are hoping for quick relief. He has enjoyed the 1 on 1 time with Paisley today. Dr. J also complemented his weight and hair!

Our sweet Bubba is still not feeling good. We are gonna go ahead and take him in before the long weekend and Holiday. We are all in agreement that he needs to be seen since he’s coughing again. He is tagging along with Paisley today and once she gets off they’ll go straight to the vet. We were not expecting this and could sure use any help with his vet bill. No amount is too small and everything helps. ❤️

5 a.m. check in with Bubba went good. He is sleeping so peacefully. I did wake him up briefly and there was no hacking. Fingers and toes crossed the meds put a stop to it. ❤️

If you’ve been following us you know this baby looks familiar…. Flossie is home just in time for the Holidays. Our hearts break for her and Ms. Marie! Ms. Marie suffered a heart attack and is no longer able to care for Flossie. Family state she just isn’t the same since returning from the hospital. I (paisley) noticed the change in Ms. Marie’s health when I went to pickup Flossie early this morning. At my last visit with Flossie and Ms. Marie she was doing much better than she was today. She was up and around etc. We are so thankful Ms. Marie and family upheld their end of the deal and contacted us. I have promised to bring Flossie by occasionally. Ms. Marie loves Flossie and is terribly upset. Ms. Marie put Flossie before herself. Flossie looks as good as the day she left us. It is going to take a very special adopter for me to even consider adopting her out again. Flossie was so happy to be back and we are happy to have her.

Flossie returning was not in the plans. She needs a last minute Christmas sponsor aka miracle. ❤️
