Kelsey's Critter Care At home pet care! Who is Kelsey of Kelsey's Critter Care? I am an experienced pet owner who has had animals all my life. I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats.

I have been actively involved in various rescues in the area and have fostered many dogs through those rescues along with a few cats. One of my cats that has since passed on was a diabetic so I am experienced in administering insulin to him twice a day as well as signs of low blood sugar and what to do in cases of diabetic emergencies.

My dog, Max, is fighting for his life against an e Coli infection he more than likely acquired at a local groomer. He has already had two surgeries to address a bone deep wound resulting from the infection. Incidentally, I am not working currently due to my own medical issues.

I am a lifelong Moorhead resident and proud graduate of MHS and Concordia. I would be extremely grateful if any community members would support me on this. Thank you.

P.S. I should note that there will be at least one upcoming surgery to heal the wound when it is ready. I am unsure of the estimated cost of that yet.

Sad to report that a Kelsey's Critter Care favorite, Balto, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We shared many car rides, treats, and ice cream together. You were one of the easiest dogs to watch as you were able to let yourself out. I'm thankful for your family and for the life they gave you after they rescued you. See you on the other side, buddy.

I'm so sad to share that a pet sitting favorite (and Patrick's sister's dog) Chloe passed away today. Chloe was the absolute best dog and never caused a fuss. The only comfort is that she was able to leave her failing body and find peace. We will miss you, girl!

Who is Kelsey of Kelsey's Critter Care? I am an experienced pet owner who has had animals all my life. When I’m not doing Kelsey’s Critter Care or volunteer work, I work as a paralegal in the family law field. I currently have 2 dogs and 3 cats. One of my cats that has since passed on was a diabetic so I am experienced in administering insulin to him twice a day as well as signs of low blood sugar and what to do in cases of diabetic emergencies.
