We always try to pick one big project a year to improve our boarding facility. This one might be my favorite yet! It was a little bitter sweet to see it go but can't wait for the new one to arrive! Thanks to JS Land Improvement for the demolition and removal! Can't even tell there was a building there.

We are looking for someone for AM and PM chores, both during the week and weekends. Chores consist of feeding horses, cleaning stalls, turning horses out and other daily tasks. Can trade board/lessona for chore work. Must have a license or reliable ride to and from the barn. MUST have horse experience.

Big shout out to one of my favorite rodeo queens and people!! Thank you Kendra for coming out to ride some of our horses at Country Side Stable and taking the time to talk to the kids and sign autographs!!
You made a big group of new fans last night! (Maybe not Honey though, she wasn’t too impressed with having to actually work 😂😂😂)
I of course forgot to take pictures with actual horses but kids are cuter anyways!

One of these days I will realize that I need to wake up extra early when it snows. Not because chores take longer, but because pictures must be taken. The barn is such a peaceful place.

Not many pictures today, but got the last big project crossed off the list before winter. Now we have heated waterers again AND a new yard light! Woohoo!!! Thanks to some awesome help. Also snuck in a quick trip to town for a trunk or treat!

Country Side Stable has openings for both indoor and outdoor board. We are located just 10 miles south of Moorhead, a short distance off of Highway 75. We take pride in providing personalized care for every horse. Country Side offers:

☆ family friendly atmosphere

☆ over 70,000 square feet of drylot space split into 7 turn out pens, to provide a variety of turn out options and maintain small balanced herd sizes. Each turn out has roughly 50% tree coverage for shade.

☆ 50x100 insulated indoor heated riding arena

☆ 130x80 outdoor sand riding arena

☆12x12 indoor stalls equipped with rubber mats and electrical outlets for winter heated buckets and fans in the summer.

☆ 45' round pen

☆ each pen offers their own run-in space equipped with mats, fly curtains and fans for the summer months, 24/7 access to round bales of grass hay with 2" slow feed hay nets inside poly feeders, and Richie waterers checked daily.

☆ grain/feed offered two times daily for both indoor and outdoor board, limited amount provided by barn. Separation at feeding times to ensure each horse receives their own feed.

☆ On site lesson program, and 4H club

☆ professional bug control program

☆ 6 week farrier schedule

☆ organized group activities and trail rides both on and off property

☆ possibility of working partial board off depending on experience and shift availability.

☆ bi-yearly vet days along with shared appointments throughout the year if needed.
