Hiring Now - Experience Bather/Pet Groomer Assistant

Barks N Bubbles Pet Grooming, Inc. is a pet grooming salon in Moorpark, California. We are a busy and growing salon looking for a full-time or part-time experienced Bather. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 to 2 years of bathing experience in a grooming salon or pet boarding facility. The ideal candidate must be patient, caring, and gentle when handling our clients. Our team needs someone who can pay attention to detail, be passionate about the well-being of animals, be punctual, reliable, and willing to learn new skills and follow directions. Must be professional mentally and physically. Our company works as a team and we are looking for team players.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Bath/Blow-dry
- Brush outs/De-shed/De-matt
- Brushing teeth
- Expressing a**l glands
- Trimming/ Filing nails
- Lifting and helping lift up to 50 lbs
- Handle any breed or size
- Finish bath dogs

**Please do not apply if you do not have 1 to 2 years of bathing or pet grooming experience in a professional salon**

*Walk-in applicants are welcome

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (W-2 position)

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Benefits:

8-hour shift
Day shift (closed Wednesday and Sunday)
Every weekend (Saturday)

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Barks N Bubbles Pet Grooming, Inc. was founded in 2016, with a vision of bringing professional pet grooming and caring for the wellbeing of dogs and cats. Our company is built on a solid foundation of education and industry experience.

Over the years it has been a journey of highs and lows. Our wonderful and caring clients’ have provided unwavering support, kind words, and reassurance. Our pet clients have all been memorable, with each of their unique and loving characteristics.

We all know a business is not just about the owner. None of this could have been possible without an amazing team. Our receptionist, bathers, and groomer assistant have been key. I have had an amazing Groomer “Jay” on my staff for over 3 years. Her talent can only be described as exceptional. Her work ethic, attention to detail, and caring nature result in the most amazing-looking animals.

I am beyond lucky to have a wonderful mentor, who chose to be a friend instead of a competitor. She is always there to lend a helping hand and unwavering support. The support from family and friends cannot be measured it is so important.

I use 1-800-Flowers to send flowers to clients, friends, and family. The flowers have been beautiful, and the arrangements arrived as described online. The recipients of the flowers have given nothing but positive responses. I recommend using 1-800-flowers.
