We took Winnie on a field trip to our friends over at Addie Lane Floral ( They are dog friendly - BTW ) to visit our girlfriend Dallas and practice one final time before she graduates from our Board + Train program. She has come so far and I look forward to training her human pack how to maintain the training and transition back home.
On a side note - I do my very best to try to feature as many of our dogs here as I can. If you have not seen your dog posted to our Facebook please know they will be. Social media is my last priority. Our canine pack will always be my first priority.

Before meeting + working with Scarlett nail trims were absolutely impossible for her owners. As was vet trip visits - so that ruled out getting her nails done there.
These days I can do Scarlett’s nails without any issues or problems. We have been working hard on trimming them down and receding those quicks of hers.
From her attempting to eat me man months ago to getting this reaction after a trim on all four feet. Oh, Scarlett! I’m so proud of you babes! 👏

People often ask me the success rate for our board + train program. My answer is always the same. If you go home and do the work and put in the consistency you will be successful. If you go home + you don’t work to change the relationship with your dog - they will revert.
Thankfully we have clients like Katie + Grant who did go home and put in the work. It has always been a goal of Grant to be able to recall his dogs by name. . Today I was sent this video. I’m sure you all recognize our boys (Surly + Blue - big block headed kids in the back) and their older brother Gus.

🐾 🌞 With the weather being warmer + more people being out and about it was the *perfect* time to let Charlie R. strut her stuff out in the real world 🌎.
🐾 Charlie came to us anxious, insecure and unconfident. She will be going home calm, confident and collected. To say I love what I do for a living is an understatement. To watch a dog blossom the way I get to is the greatest gift I can ask for.

A true testament to what having an open mind, asking questions and follow through can bring you. Andre has been working hard at maintaining the work and the training that we laid out for them and this is a direct result of that.

We had to pick up a few things at Marvs so we decided to bring along Rosie H.
Rosie H. is hard at work building up her confidence around new people. She’s actually extremely insecure and overwhelmed and in turn she lets out these fear barks which have proved to work in the past with her family to keep people at bay.
It was busy today being the pawliday is coming up and it was a perfect training opportunity to work on some behavioral modification.
Check out that eye contact she gives! She’s come so far. And yes, she was heavily rewarded with some nice treats for being such a good girl. Of course they were given when she was calm 😉

We know that life can be chaotic and busy. That’s why we use life and the real world 🌎 to practice behavioral modification and obedience work. I noticed the mailman coming down the street and used it as an opportunity to test Rosie H and see if she decided to make the right decisions. And I couldn’t have asked her to have done any better a job. Good girl 👍 👏
Rosie H. is an extremely insecure dog. She lacks confidence in herself and struggles with impulse control.
Her owners struggle with her anxiety and the fact that she likes to bark and growl whenever she sees someone (even if they’re far in the distance)
We’ve been working hard to correct the bad behaviors and rehabilitate the mindset of this little thing! And we are pleased to see her progress each and every day!

Good morning, Pack! ☀️🌞🌅
We wanted to give you a little glimpse into our Pack Walk that we hosted last Sunday.
Why are pack walks beneficial?
🐾 They help your dog to practice impulse control and focus on you in an environment full of distractions.
🐾 They teach your dog that other dogs can also mean calm. We can exist without going 🦇💩 crazy.
🐾 They build both confidence in both your dog and yourself! This is especially helpful if you get nervous 😬 when working with your dog in whatever type of situation and you want to have a calm, controlled environment to practice in along with the help of our pack.
🐾 They allow you to connect and bond with other owners who may share the same struggles with their dog as you do yours.
Remember- in order to be eligible to come to one of our pack walks your dog must have completed a board and train program with us or have done private one on one lessons and your dog is capable of heeling properly.
The power of the pack is real, guys!
