Our first egg of the season! 😍
If it’s fertile it will be a Cochin/Duccle mix. My batams live together during the winter, I plan to separate them since they’re starting to lay. Let’s hope my Standard size hens get the hint and start laying soon too!
I can’t wait to break out the incubators!!

I moved our Mommas and babies into a colony style pen today! I will be adding a door to open up another stall for them to have even more room tomorrow!

2 Blue-eyed Nigerian Dwarf bottle babies available. The black and white one is a girl, she's a couple weeks old. The little boy is Hershey brown and white, 4 days old today. Both are doing great!

We've got a new little one on the farm!
Our girl, Ivory, had her very first kid, a beautiful blue-eyed girl!
These sweet buns are looking for their forever home! They're currently 3.5 weeks, so they still have some growing to do before they can leave momma. You're welcome to reserve one with a small deposit, though! Pm me for more details!
We had a tragedy happen this last week with predators 😭 5 ducks left out of almost 20, so I'm essentially starting over.
I traveled all the way to Indiana to get these sweet babies! I was also able to hatch some eggs from my sweet white call duck, Millie. Im so glad that I will still have a little piece of him here on the farm with me through his offspring! ❤
Got half of the big brooder finished today! I sure am enjoying them being on the porch alot more than in the laundry room lol

Millie and Clyde got their own penthouse this week! Millie was so excited she laid an egg within 30 minutes of being in her new home!

Update on Momma Silkie!
She hatched 7 out of 11 eggs! I candled the last 4, to check for life. There was 1 that had internally pipped, but wasn't moving so I put it in the incubator just in case. To my surprise, it hatched the very next day and is doing great!!
Momma Silkie's babies are hatching! I think she has atleast 2 so far! I put up some fencing so they can all live in the same pen but the other hens and rooster can't be mean to the babies.
I'm so excited to see how many hatch ans what they grow up to look like! She has 11 eggs under her. 🐣

I gave our white call duck pen a little upgrade today! They were so happy to waddle around the property and clean off in the kiddie pool❤🦆
