Congrats to all of the prospective members who all passed the control evaluation tonight! All of these dogs will now move on to complete 10 supervised visits to finish their certification.

Today is National Therapy Animal day! Therapy dogs play such an important role in communities. Are you wondering how you can help celebrate the occasion? We have some ideas for you!

-Share stories of your interactions with therapy animals or your experiences as a therapy animal handler. Feel free to put these in the comments!

-Talk to some of our therapy animal handlers about volunteering and maybe consider becoming a certified dog/handler team.

Mark your calendars for our first public evaluation date! Any prospective members looking to join our group are invited to attend this event.

During this event we will discuss the Love on a Leash rules, expectations, roles of a therapy dog and discuss the process to join in detail. Even if you want to just learn about therapy dogs we encourage you to come out and talk to our group members and leaders.

At the end of the session all dogs and handlers that would wish to proceed with potential certification will be able to test for the Control Evaluation.

Hello everyone! We are the newest chapter of Love on a Leash. We provide pet assisted therapy visits to the Morehead area and surrounding cities. We currently have around 10 certified therapy dog teams but hope to grow that number!

We would love to visit your organization with our dogs, talk to you about the certification process, or talk about Love on a Leash. Feel free to reach out anytime!
