M&M Walking Horse Farm Horseback riding lessons Hello, lessons are one hour long and are $25. Students learn to groom, tack, and proper equitation while riding. They are $15 each.

Students learn proper cues for controlling the horse around obstacles and out on the trail. Riders must be 6 years or older. Students usually come once a week. Please contact me to schedule a lesson. Also, we offer tiny tot sessions with Hannah Sparks for ages 5 and under.

Our Story

M&M Walking Horse Farm is owned and operated by Kevin & Melissa Marcum. The farm consists of several flat shod registered Tennessee Walking Horses of all levels and ages. Melissa Marcum is a high school biology teacher for Rowan County Senior High School. She has also been teaching riding lessons for several years now. She loves helping her students build confidence in both themselves and their equestrian skills.
