Early this morning Spud ( Walmart pup), left on transport along with other Reescues dogs. Thank you Heather Miller for getting up while most slept, driving in the fog to get Spud and the others to a better life.

This dog came to STAR at 7 weeks and has to live in foster because of the lack of vaccines. Walmart reject. Warning -If someone is giving away puppies at Walmart, Kroger anywhere for that matter. Please Please take it straight to vet for vaccinations! Parvo is contagious, expensive to treat, survival rate is low.
This pup is one of the thousand reasons we beg for donations . We need community support, volunteers, fosters.

Last week STAR took in 2 new born babies who lost mom at birth And being bottle fed. Mom was a stray who died after birthing the last puppy.
STAR members work hard trying to save as many lives as possible. We need community support, volunteers, fosters.

Asking for donations .
STAR received a message Thursday about a dog that supposedly had been hit by a car. Even though STAR is full we knew we had to help this dog. He is still at the vet , no broken bones , he is unable to stand or walk. He did test positive for Lyme, Erlichia and Anaplasma . At this time we don’t know if he suffered head trauma or if there was a preexisting neurological disorder.
Suggestion on a name for this beautiful boy?

Thank you Heather Miller for transporting these precious babies to a better life. We still have two sibling’s ( litter of 5), we have mom who is not in the best of health( our vet and volunteers are working diligently to get her back to health). This is what your donation’s are used for to save lives. Thank you for supporting STAR.
