Another early morning, another 250 miles on the truck and another 6 or 7 horses getting shod. I’m smiling even though I’m working on Sunday...I have a wife and family that support this lifestyle we call work, the horses I’m shoeing are good and traffic is light.

Friday : The Certification Program is dedicated to the welfare of the horse. Using an AFA certified farrier provides horse owners with a true partner in equine health, as who pass the AFA Certified Farrier examination exhibit a working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, gaits, and horseshoes and their various uses. They display the ability to identify, assess, trim and protect structures of the hoof, and set the standard for excellence in hoofcare.
