📢 🐶 🐱 Attention pets! Bring your humans and join the Krewe of KQKI as we broadcast live from the Grand Opening of the The Pet Station in Patterson this Saturday! Our live broadcast is from 10 am until 1 pm, but the fun for the pets and “their tiny humans” continues until 5 pm, so join us for a fun-filled day for the whole family, including the furry and non-furry family members! 🐕 🐈 See below more information!

Grooming demos will be held at the following times:

Toy Poodle: 11:00 am
Schnauzer: 1:00 pm
Mix Yorkie: 3:00 pm

Boarding tours will be held at 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:00, and 2:30.

There will also be a Bark Park for dogs to play and socialize!

❇️FOOD DRIVE FOR OUR RESCUE/SHELTER- we will also accept blankets.

❇️ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS & YOUR DOGS- we will have stuffed animals for the kids to “adopt” their own dog. 🙂

Please consider coming out to support The Pet Station and our group. There will also be craft vendors and a food truck! It’s gonna be a great time!

We’re a little bit late, but happy Giving Tuesday!

What we are currently up to: I’m still networking shelter dogs constantly. If they are in need of a specific item, medically or otherwise, we cover that. I (Nadia) tirelessly network, arrange transport and visit the shelter to ensure stray dogs are not forgotten and that they have a chance.

We recently have had 5 dogs depart from our partner shelter ( St. Mary) and we were able to provide three new wire crates for the rescue, so that these dogs could leave the shelter.

We may not keep up with social media nearly as much as we’d like to, but all of our members have full time jobs and most have kiddos on top of our numerous rescues that we care for.

Look at these adorable babies available at our partner shelter, St. Mary Parish Animal Shelter!

They are around 8-10 weeks old. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccines.

They will likely be med/med-large when fully grown.

How can we ever thank Purple Rose Tattoo Lafayette La enough for today. They donated their time, their shop and their talent to raise money for our little group.

Bruno got some attention and a break from the shelter, and while he didn’t get adopted, we think that he will soon!

As an avid tattoo lover (Nadia), this shop is clean, organized, the vibe is excellent and the artwork is great. Can’t ask for more than that. If you need a new tattoo, consider giving these people some business! Myself and another member of the rescue participated personally and got one of the tattoos from their flash sheets.
