Conditions to adopt:
You have to be 18 or older to adopt a rabbit from Cozy Lop Rabbitry. You may purchase a rabbit for someone younger than 18, but I cannot accept any money from a minor. I will not give my rabbits to anyone who has not looked into how to care for a rabbit, or what a rabbit needs. If you are buying my rabbits as a gift, put time and effort into learning what it means to own and
care for a rabbit. A rabbit, especially a young one, is a big responsibility and should not be adopted as a 'spur of the moment' idea. S*x of rabbits under the age of 10 weeks can't be 100% guaranteed. While we do our best to determine the gender of our kits and do a very good job of it, it can be difficult to know with certainty. If the rabbit turns out to be the opposite s*x, the adoption is still final. Before bringing home any of my Cozy Lop rabbits, you must have a place for it, as well as all the needed supplies (see list below) for it to thrive happily. Bunny Home Checklist:
~ A sturdy rabbit cage
~ Bedding
~ Good-quality rabbit food (We use Silva's Rabbit Feed)
~ Hay (preferably Timothy hay)
~ Food dish
~ Hay rack
~ Water bottle
~ Chew sticks
~ Toys
~ Bunny treats (optional)
~ Litter box (optional)
All rabbits go home with food and hay. On their Go-Home-Date, all Cozy Lop rabbits go with a baggie of their food and hay to transition over to the new food you will be feeding them. To transition your new rabbit over to your rabbit food, you should mix half of your food, and half of our food together and slowly mix more of your food in over the next few days. Every Cozy Lop rabbit is pedigreed. If you want a copy of your rabbit's pedigree you may request one that will be given to you on your rabbit's go-home day. All of our rabbits are happy, and extremely healthy. Our rabbits are bred for good genetics and raised in a clean environment so they can go to their new home in the best health possible. As such, we are not responsible for any sickness or death in the rabbit 24 hours after it goes to its new home. We are not responsible for any health issues that may develop after this time. If your rabbit gets sick, or dies, within 24 hours of going home we will offer you a replacement rabbit from available rabbits or the next litter. Replacement rabbits may take up to six months to be born. If you are interested in breeding my rabbits, talk to me first. Our rabbits are bred for pet quality, with priorities placed on excellent health and fun colors, as such they are not intended for show. If you have bought a Cozy Lop rabbit, and don't want it anymore, you must reach out to me. I don't want any of my rabbits going to shelters, or inexperienced homes. I will take the rabbit back without any fees, and find it a new home.
