Taking time to grieve. If you know me, you know this mare had been in my life for over 12 years, was my introduction to Versatility and Cow Horse training, then proved her worth in the breeding barn by producing money earner after money earner. I'm completely heartbroken. Please allow me some time to process and I'll get back when I can. Thanks for your support.

I'd like to congratulate Maryjo on her purchase of Cougar Deere 316!! As Johnny heads to his new home, I've been reflecting on the impact this gelding has had on my life and career. I wouldn't be the trainer I am or have some of the friends and connections I've made without horses like this to help open the doors. Thanks, Maryjo, for giving Johnny a great home and I can't wait to see all your accomplishments ahead.

What a ride!! Cougar Deere 316 and Brianna Parnell had their personal high score of the year at the Road to Nowhere in the Two Rein class with a 291.5. This little gelding is aging like a fine wine!!

We have a heartbeat!! One Smart Dually was confirmed in foal to Quahadi! We are so excited about this cross and continue to pray that this is another routine pregnancy. Thank you, Dr. Chloe Gates, for taking care of our broodmares as well as all of our other horses for all of our veterinary needs, you truly are a treasure! The look on her face is how I see most women looking at a pregnancy test 😂😂 shock then excitement.

Dually finally delivered her foal yesterday, May 1st, a handsome c**t by Mr Playin Stylish! Please help us welcome MayDay to the barn. He's very curious and as sweet as they come. Dually was well past her due date but this c**t was definitely worth the wait 😍😍

Congratulations to Tina Selsor on her purchase of Brooks Dual Jets! They are making their way to Iowa where Sis will enjoy her new home on a big ranch, get to compete in barrel racing, and eventually become a broodmare. It was such a pleasure to meet and spend time with Tina and Jay this morning, they are truly wonderful people and Sis will have a very good home for as long as she lives.

Happy birthday, little one!! After many prayers and sleepless nights, Twisted gave birth to a beautiful stud c**t this morning. The mare, by Hickory Holly Time, was bred to Im Countin Checks last year after an injury that kept her from competition in the reined cowhorse arena. Can't wait to see what the future holds for this c**t!

Cougar Deere 316 finished 7th at the Celebration of Champions in the Limited Open Hackamore. Johnny, as he's affectionately known, is a 2016 model stallion by Smart Lena Boon. I feel blessed for the opportunity to show and humbled every day by the amount of support I feel. This sport takes so much from you, but it's all worth it for moments like these. I'm excited to show this horse in the two rein and bridle classes in 2022. Thank you to the owners, sponsors, and supporters who keep this industry growing and thriving. May feed and diesel prices come down soon.

Foolish made his debut in the show pen this past weekend and did not disappoint!! He had the high score in the herd work Friday, had a little pilot error in the rein work on Saturday, but then came back Sunday with the high score in the fence work to win the Limited Open Futurity at the STRCHA Labor Day Show! Congratulations to owner Bret Dolan.
