And how is “Lucky” still here? This precious boy is a sweetie with a gentle personality as well as playful. He is the last of his litter, 12 weeks old, boxer/chiweenie mix, neutered, shots including rabies. Loves to sit with you and cuddle. ADORABLE! We are here today (Sunday) 11-2:30 pm. Come take him home! ♥️

Our sweet and playful Archer is still with us and he’s been dreaming that his person is coming ♥️ 3 1/2 months old and so much personality and love to give! Plus a cuddle bug and a purring machine! How can you resist those eyes.

Beautiful Rina! ♥️ She was returned to us due to another kitty in the home not accepting her and she had to stay hid all the time. Rina is so sweet, gentle and likes her playtime. A cute personality and she is very low maintenance. Rina is 3 years old, spayed, shots including rabies and is microchipped. Rina would be a perfect companion for a person or couple or even a family. Please give her a chance and come meet her. Our older babies are often overlooked. Please share and help us find this baby girl her purrfect home!

Looking for a lover boy, well here he is! This is Zander and he is the cutest pup ever with those puffy kissy cheeks! (We call him Bee Sting because his cheeks are so puffy)! Zander is 15 weeks old, Shar Pei/American Bull dog mix. He is neutered and has his shots. He is so smart and already knows sit and is pretty much house trained. He is so much fun and you will definitely fall in love! Please come see this baby! And look at those eyes! ♥️

Friends For Animals is at the Morganton festival today & tomorrow. We are booth 718. All of your purchases support our no kill shelter. We are on the side next to the movie theater - not in front of the theater. Applebee’s in Morganton is sponsoring an event on 1 October, where 25% of their proceeds benefits Friends For Animals stop by our booth and pick up a ticket for Applebee’s.

The Friends for Animals-Humane Society of Burke County's WAGS TO RICHES SHOP is getting ready for Halloween! Stop by & see all our pet costumes! Who/what will your furbaby be for Halloween??

Captain is three years old. He’s a great boy. He loves to play. He knows tricks and he is house trained! He would make a wonderful playmate for a kid around nine years old or older. He is very sociable. Captain is so good on the leash that we walked him in the Morganton Christmas parade. He was a real hit with all the kids. You could not have asked for a better behaved dog walking in the parade. As a volunteer, he is one of my favorites, but he deserves a family of his own. Friends For Animals-Humane Society of Burke County (FFA) at 417 Kirksey Dr, Morganton to meet her. Sun 11am - 3pm Wed 11am - 5pm Closed Mon & Tues for veterinary care. P.S. the shop is our volunteer run WAGS TO RICHES Shop! Open Sat 11am - 3pm & Sun 11am - 2pm. 100% of all proceeds goes to FFA!
