During my lessons, Duchess decided she’d been waiting around for awhile so figured she should lay down to take a rest😴
Although lessons were going on, people and other horses were moving about, the energy around us was very relaxed...so I knew Wyatt wasn’t far behind. I removed his saddle, asked him to lay down and with no hesitation he ‘dropped’ and had a roll😆
I love that my horses feel so comfortable, relaxed and happy even when many things are going on around them

This week has been SO gloomy, cold and rainy...
Let’s take a trip back to spring to remind us of what is coming (hopefully soon)!

Working on spins
Last year I was fortunate enough to be able to attend my second 3 week clinic with Ken McNabb in order to earn my Journeyman trainer certification. This is Zeus and I two weeks into the clinic, working on anchoring his pivot foot and keeping his hindquarters stationary.
