Introducing our 2025 Sourdough Bread Making Kit 😍

These are some of my favorite essentials needed for making sourdough bread at home!

This kit includes: a proofing basket and 12”x12” cloth, glass jar and lid, cloth jar cover, jar spatula, dehydrated sourdough starter with instructions for rehydration, bread lame with extra blades and leather blade cover, bread bag and twist tie, printed instructions walking you through sourdough basics, and a step by step recipe for my Dutch oven sourdough bread!

These are all items I use myself when baking bread and I highly recommend all of them!

A note on the basket included: I used to use the traditional banneton baskets and even included them in my bread making kits last year. However, I discovered that it’s actually fairly common for mold to develop on those baskets and many people end up tossing them. The basket included in my kit is plastic and easily washed and won’t get moldy! 🙌🏻

These kits are also included in what you’ll receive at one of my Sourdough Workshops. So not only will you get to take these items home, you’ll get to see how I use each one during our hands-on class.

I am now offering a weekly meetup window at the Morganton Library on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30 pm -5:30 pm for order pickups. This option is to replace deliveries to your homes. Check out my menu and place your order for this Thursday’s meetup!
