Sam (red with black face) and his sister are a little over a rear old. Sam is already working the farm. They are still looking for new homes.

🙏🙏 UPDATE ON LUCKY MAN🙏🙏

Please bear with me as I am trying to hold back emotions.

Our vet visit today was long and grooling. He is still with us and looks like he will be for an undisclosed amount of time.

He had many tests done today. Picked on and prodded at for close to 3 hours. But was a complete angel the whole time. He gave many kisses to everyone that got close enough to him. He even snuck 1 in on the vet 😃.

He does not have a broken leg (no that would be the easy way). He actually has total nerve loss in his front left leg. It needs to be amputated. I am waiting for an email with the estimated cost of the surgery.

He has a bad case of both whipworms and hookworms. So he is on a medication for that.

He tested positive for Lyme Disease. So he is on an antibiotic for 30 days. Then will be retested.

His heartworm and parvo tests came back negative. WOW we got some good news there.

They took a cbc. His ALT, WB, and BASO was all slightly high. So we will retest again in a few weeks.

He has some superficial wounds that will need to be treated daily for a week. Plus 1 deep slash between his eyes that needs cleaned and treated daily until it heels.

He is on a pain medication for a week. And I can get more if needed.

We are calling him Lucky, short for Lucky Man. He is so sweet, loves to give kisses, wants to play but is in so much pain, and seems to be well trained. I can not say he is potty trained as we have had him out 5 times in 12 hours and he has NOT peed or pooped at all. I am calling my vet for an emergency visit today.

When he came to us he was limping bad, dragging his front paw. Has a wound between his eyes, seem to have a sore back leg (same side), has a few other scrapes I have found, he is losing fur by the handfuls, looks skinny (can see some rib lines). He is in poor shape over all. Will do another update after seeing the vet.

This poor guy really wants to get out and play with the others. I feel so bad cause with his leg the way it is I really do not wanna cause more damage.

We was brought a heeler tonight. We splinted his foot and he will be going to the vet tomorrow.

How can anyone throw out a sweet face like this?

And then there was 1.

Guyia was born first of 7. All his siblings got loving homes but he is still waiting for his. He is a fun loving young pup the loves to play. He is learning "no", "leave it" and " no bites" quickly. We will start working on potty training next. So if you are interested in giving Guyia his loving forever home please contact me.

1 brother and 1 sister left on 3/9.
2 sisters and 1 brother left on 3/10
And his last sister left today. All went to their new homes.

Our new litter arrived on December 29th.

Momma Rose was not gonna wait til after my Doctor's appointment. So I arrived home to 4 precious babies. Within 2 hours we had 3 more.

7 new babies in total. 3 male/4 female. They will be ready for new homes in 6 to 7 weeks.

As always all pups have a vet visit before going home with shots and a microchip.

I will do a collage with individual pictures this weekend ( January 6th/7th)
