What a great evening had by ALL! We are so fortunate to be part of such an amazing team and to “care for animals and serve our community!”

It’s been a little while since we’ve had an all-staff* meeting! Thank you to these wonderful people for making Cheat Lake Animal Hospital and Feline Veterinary Care of Morgantown amazing.🤩

Tonight we talked about our revised mission statement — “to care for animals and serve our community” — as well as our core values. It was great to have so many of us in one room. Thank you again to all!

🌎 Happy Earth Day 2024! Here are a few things you & your pet can do to help protect the environment and celebrate Earth Day:

☀️Take your pet for a walk outside. It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful afternoon here in the Morgantown area!

♻️ Try to recycle the cardboard and plastic packaging materials that come with your pet’s toys and treats, as well as pet food cans. And check with a local shelter to see if they will accept donated towels or bed sheets for the pets in their care.

💩 Clean up your pet’s waste — biodegradable p**p bags are available too!

🛍️ Shop for your pet’s needs locally. Supporting small businesses in our community can help reduce the resources spent shipping and packaging goods. And it helps local economies. We are proud that our animal hospital is locally owned & operated!

PET FOOD & SUPPLY DRIVE!

This holiday season we will be collecting donations for the Preston County Animal Shelter. The food and supplies collected will be used in the shelter as well as distributed by the shelter to pets in need.

The shelter is in need of the following:

✅ New, unopened dog, cat, puppy, & kitten food (prefers Purina products)
✅ All sizes of dog collars, leashes, and harnesses, especially size large and XL
✅ Small hand brooms with dustpans

We will be collecting donations from December 14 until January 15. Donations can be dropped off at Cheat Lake Animal Hospital and Feline Veterinary Care of Morgantown.
