Venison Carne Asada Tacos 🌮🦌
Ingredients:
1 lb venison steak, thinly sliced 🦌
3 tbsp olive oil 🫒
Juice of 2 limes 🍋
2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
1 tsp ground cumin 🌿
1/2 tsp smoked paprika 🌶️
1/2 tsp chili powder 🌶️
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Corn tortillas 🌽
Optional toppings: diced onion, chopped cilantro, salsa, lime wedges 🌿
Directions:
1️⃣ Marinate the Venison: In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Add venison slices, coating well. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight for best flavor. 🦌🍋
2️⃣ Cook the Venison: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Sear venison slices for 2-3 minutes per side until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes. 🔥🥩
3️⃣ Warm the Tortillas: Heat corn tortillas on a skillet or grill until pliable. 🌮🔥
