“Proudly Stan” is a 15.3h, 13 year old, OTTB gelding. This gelding is an uncomplicated and smooth ride perfect for the beginner or intermediate rider. You name it, he does it! Whether it’s trail riding, cross country schooling, packing you around a Jumper course then heading into the Hunter ring for a nice quiet ride, he does it all with a great attitude in tow. Although Stan is more of a push ride he will carry a pace and truly enjoys his job! Lots of local show miles in all rings. Stan is sound, barefoot and requires zero maintenance! Whew what a day. It started out with owner Danielle Roberts jumping for the first time in over a year on our awesome horse Stan. Then some horses had dentist appointments while others had chiro appointments all with the great Eddie Esparaza. Then we finished the evening at run for the Ribbons show for Jeremy Allegar and blues first show together. They made an awesome team. Team ESCO had a great performance with Sam Sellers and Richard bringing home 2 blues and Jeremy and blue bringing home fourth in large competitive classes.

Gotham Blues Sport Horses/ESCO Equestrian Center is a hunter/jumper facility currently seeking out a fun and motivated working student. Will mostly be needed in evenings and weekends.

Our working student will learn all aspects of barn management, horse care/training, competition grooming/riding and a full understanding of equine business management. We are looking for a hard worker that is able to multitask and work independently when needed.

You will learn necessary skills to care for these animals and the clientele that comes with them!
Our working student will receive weekly lessons, daily riding opportunities and opportunities to show (depending on experience).

This is a great opportunity to train under highly respected and knowledgable equestrians!
Must be 16 or older to apply!
