Picking the new winner for the lottery raffle! 🐶
We are still trying, she’s so sweet and doesn’t really want to bite she’s just so scared sometimes
Ivy approves which is great, all she would eat is chicken 😫
She came a long way, and we still have a ways to go, she’s so cute, I’m grateful she’s here and safe ❤️

This girl was abandoned in a house in my town with another big dog and a kitten with food and water not sure how long they were alone. The owners stopped paying rent, when the landlord went to check what was going on he found the animals. The kitten and the big dog found placement but as you can see in the first video, this girl was terrified and has fear aggression. Since she would not have made it out of a shelter alive this way, I brought her here temporarily to figure out the best place for her. She is better with calm friendly dogs around and actually let me pet her when they were in the room. Without the dogs, not so much. But she did take chicken from my hand so there’s some hope. Fast movements aren’t good so no kids for her. I named her Ivy, my guess is she is around 9 years old. I’m full, and still have a commitment to bringing Jupiter here in the next 6-8 weeks. Ivy has been here less than 24 hours, hopefully she just needs a little time. #savethemall #scareddog #poorgirl #seniordogsanctuary #whatsonemore #dowhatyoucan #helper #grateful #spareroom
He’s home and he’s ok, thank you for the good vibes we love you 😘
Excuse my squeaky voice but this is huge. Pepita was tail tucked and shut down when she first came here a week ago, I wasn’t sure I would ever see anything like this from her 🥺 she wagged her tail for the first time once the day before and I tried all day to see if she would do it again but nope and I wasn’t sure it was real. Well, it was real! I’m so happy!!! Little things like this make the hard work and heartaches all worth it.
When rescuers take in a dog from a shelter or a bad situation, that first deep sleep where they know they are safe, playing with a toy, tail wags, looking for interaction, figuring out that a dog bed is for them, these are the things that make what we do so very worth it. I’m so grateful she feels safe and comfortable here, we love you Pepita ❤️❤️
