She treats every pet as if they were her own, displays endless empathy, and tackles the day with a contagious smile that is unmatched! Pictured are two of her fur babies, Hera and Piper. Tanner does it all! Client service representative, room nurse, and treatment nurse, you can find her helping all over the clinic. She knows every pet by name, and provides excellent care to our patients and boarders. Pictured is her fur baby Barley! You rock Tanner, thank you for all you do!! 🙌🏻💙🥳

It’s National Veterinary Technician Week!🥳🥳

Each day this week, we will be shining a spotlight on our wonderful technicians.

Today’s spotlight is Alejandra (aka Ale or Alex)! Ale is known as the kitty whisperer, having a way with cats that puts them instantly at ease (pictured are her own cats, Poli and Cali). She also excels at dentistry, placing IV catheters, and monitoring anesthesia (just to name a few).

Dr. Byrd is a Certified Veterinary Food Therapist (CVFT), where she utilizes the energetic properties of food to treat diseases based on Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) principals. Food Therapy can be used in sick pets to manage disease and restore balance within the body, as well as for healthy pets to help prevent disease in the future. Allow us to assist you with making the switch, and watch as your pet’s energy increases, weight improves, coat becomes shinier, and they dance as you prepare their food!🥩🥦🍌🐶

Local artist, Charlie Clingman, from artist group Forever Stoked, is painting a mural in our lobby! To raise money, we are auctioning off the paintings that have been in our lobby for many years, to one lucky client 🤩

This is Bridget Jones, an MBVC patient. She has recently started a custom Food Therapy plan created by Dr. Byrd to help with her itchiness. As you can see, she is very excited for her homemade duck recipe (containing duck, oats, mushrooms, spinach, oil, and vitamins/minerals). Wait for the end when dad tells her meal time is over 😹

Yes, she eats in a high chair.
And yes, she should be famous.

Dr. Byrd and her mom have decided that she is not spoiled, just loved 😉🐾💙
