We are looking into rehoming our sweet Arlo. She is a Standard (45lbs) F1 Bernedoodle & will be 2 in September, she is spayed, she has had pancreatitis in the past after her vaccinations, and has had one surgery for an obstruction of a rock. Beyond those she is in amazing health, had had genetic testing with nothing abnormal shown. She is up to date on vaccines. Very good with kids, I would say moderate energy level especially since she is still in her puppy stage, definitely not as crazy as other puppies though! No agression signs what so ever.
Reason for rehoming is her eating things outside. We have paid over 10k in vet fees/bills in the last year for her, we love her so much but know that someone else may have a better environment to keep a good eye on her. We have a gravel driveway and two young boys who do not keep things away from her. We are trying hard to keep her safe and healthy but that has started to really limit her and decrease what I feel is her quality of life. I also feel like since Odin (our other Bernedoodle) passed away she has really been more bored. We attempted to get her a new companion and with him being smaller she doesn’t get the same exercise and energy level she was used to. Our pet insurance will not cover another obstruction and I am terrified to get into a situation where we have to choose to put her down or pay another 5k.
She has been to board and train, knows some basic commands, walks amazing on a leash, potty trained, the whole deal. I know she will make someone so so happy and that someone out there can keep her safe in a way our home currently cannot even with constant monitoring. We are not in a huge hurry, we just want to ensure she’s in the best place possible! This was not an easy decision! There will be a rehoming fee, message me for all the details 💕🥹
