One thing I have always been honest with clients about is how I am not the most comfortable around mules. Earlier this week I was fortunate enough to travel with another farrier for a whole day of mule shoeing. I was given the most gentle and kind mules I have ever met and am grateful for that.🥰 I am still skeptical that I'll ever be a mule girl but it'll be something I'll continue to work on. Here's to always learning and moving forward 🙌

This mare was at 7 weeks and another farrier said she'd be fine for another 8 week cycle without a reset 😳 Of course the owner didn't like that answer so called for a 2nd opinion. Hard to believe that's even the same foot!

Ever seen a set of shoes this worn after only 5 weeks 😳 I put a different style of shoe on yesterday and am hoping for them to wear better for this pony

I can't pass up the opportunity to pick up a foot and maybe help out a pony have proper foot function even if I am in shorts. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 I truly love what I do and care about every horse I touch 🐎❤️

One of the best things about this career is learning new things so often. This endurance horse got a fancy pair of "Hoof-it" composite shoes. This was my first time working with those so I am sure it's not perfect but happy with how the process turned out. 🤫 Don't tell anyone that this is my personal horse 😅

Today's before and afters plus a picture of a nipper run from the same horse. These shoes had been on since October. An unfortunate event of another shoer never returning calls/texts. This is fairly common in this profession and I strive to not do myself. I WILL return your messages.

This one took a few cycles to fix but I am extremely happy with the progress. Before picture was taken in August vs today. I think ill have this sweet mare exactly where she needs to be in 1 more trim.

As mud season arrives clients are asking what I recommend for thrush prevention and treatment and my answer is Artimud. I have been approved to become a dealer of this product and would like to gauge interest before I place an order as the product comes from the UK and shipping won't be cheap. Would you find it beneficial to be able to buy this directly from me? Would you like to commit to a jar before I order? These jars will be $21 from me and will last a client a VERY long time.

Huge ask to all current clients. Please refrain from putting essential oils on your horses before I arrive. Today I had a client apply some for fly control and within 5 min of touching the horse I had a near migraine headache. If you know me in my personal life you probably know I am allergic to EVERYTHING and this likely doesn't surprise you 😅 Thanks everyone!

These photos were shared with me by a new client. The first photo is from 1 week prior to me shoeing and 1 week post shoeing. Look at that stride improvement 🤩 This client understands how important appropriate breakover is and was happy that we were on the same page about that. These pictures say it all!

Had the pleasure of helping out some rescue horses last week. Here's some before and after pictures with huge improvements made. This owner sent me videos of this mare running and bucking a few hours later, something she had never seen the horse do before.

Photo of the Hells Canyon fire. Praying for my clients and all others effected by this and many other fires in our area. I am slightly limited on how I can help without having a truck and trailer at the moment but if anyone needs anything I am happy to help the best I can. This morning I did some emergency shoeing for people with cattle that needed shod horses to get the cows moved. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me!

Here's a great before and after from today. This horse has a serious old injury which makes her drag the bad toe off and put all her weight on this foot causing it to splay out and in turn making it difficult for her to get a good trim on this foot. Today I went the extra mile, that other past farriers wouldn't do according to my client, to figure out a way to get the best trim possible for her. I found a way in which she was very comfortable to tolerate my work. Better foot function will help this mare out a lot! I am happy to take on any other special needs horse you may have ❤

Meet my new client "Bambi". Yes goats need their feet cared for also and I'd be happy to help you with that. Bambi is a milk goat and she stood perfectly on the stanchion eating some yummy grain while she got her pedicure.

Today I had the pleasure of helping out another farrier friend of mine that is banged up, not horse related. Thanks for having me Jenny! Look at the wear on these shoes after only 6 weeks on an endurance horse 😳 first picture is a new shoe vs. the exact same used shoe. The second picture is the front set of composite blue pegasus shoes with the hind set of steel shoes.

Meet Monkey and Raisin. They recently were rescued from an abuse situation and unfortunately their feet are the least of their worries. I was able to work with them today and get them headed back in the right direction. I cant wait to track their progress in the future. These guys are back on my books in 4 weeks so we can stay ahead of their issues for the next few months

Whether is was working as a vet tech, dog groomer or pet sitter animals are my world. But to top the rest has always been horses at the center of my heart.
