Good News! Pocono HydroFarm has plenty of Ornamental Kale and Cockscomb (Celosia plumosa)in stock. Both festive plants can be used as beautiful autumn décor, and since Kale is so cold hardy it's perfect for outdoor arrangements such as wreaths, garland, and porch containers. Feel free to leave a message or stop by our greenhouse. We'll also be happy to provide you with tips on how to make more stunning festive decorations with our products. Price per plant is 1.49ea.

Happy Halloween! Did you know that the spiders inside of our greenhouse act as a natural pesticide? Thanks to our little friends, we do not have to use toxic chemicals to protect the produce we grow. They are also one of the few pest predators that don't eat plants, making them out to be fabulous tiny plant protectors. If you want to increase spider numbers in your garden, here are a few tips:

·Grow flowers that attract insect prey.

·Mulch with grass or wood chips to provide cover and humidity.

·Add more trees and shrubs to provide anchor points for web-building spiders to spin their webs.

Food shortages and rising costs on products have become a real thing, but despite everything going on around us we've been fortunate to be able to keep our greenhouse open and continue to grow our produce at the highest possible standard, without having to raise our prices. As a local business, we feel it is our responsibility to look out for the well-being of our community; we are all in this together, and as our way of helping during these trying times we've decided to add an extra service here on Facebook. As of now, anyone who would like to place an order can do so via messenger or by leaving a message below. We're offering same day delivery to our pick up location which will be at our local Agway in Moscow.

Our lettuce has nothing to do with the CDC recall! We do not sell in any states that have had an issue, and we are not a national seller. They are still investigating to pinpoint which national grower has the E. Coli issue and that is why they are pulling all. Again....You are safe with us!
