Deer, Bobcats, Fox & Skull mounts on every wall.

Don’t forget there is a $5 a day fee added to mounts not picked up or paid on after 14 days of notification of completion.

The excuse that I won’t be back in town for a month isn’t a reason a bill can’t be paid on.
People whom are out of town for extended periods of time are still able to pay House notes, electricity,water bills, vehicle notes, home insurance, vehicle insurance, credit card bills and so on.
We have multiple methods of payment…. PayPal, Cashapp, Venmo, we take Checks and Cash.
The people who work here can’t be paid if completed work goes delinquent.
We close at 5 pm most days. If you need to come after please call a day in advance and we can have someone here to meet after hours.

HELP WANTED ……..

1). Looking for someone to do finish work on mounts as they are ready.
Hours will be 8-5
Days will be Wednesday Thursday possibly more.
Need to have a intrest in art.

2). Part-Time Taxidermist preferably 2 years experience.
Hours flexible.

Today July 25th we remember Debbie Brown on her birthday. Debbie unexpectedly left this earth 2 years ago. She was very instrumental in bringing this shop to fruition in 2006 and would have never been possible without her. Although Taxidermy was never her cup of tea I quickly found out she was a better artist than any of us that have graced this studio and worked hard to insure things flowed smoothly. She was one of the best fish painters I’ve ever known bringing such realism to our mounts. She won several taxidermy competition awards for her artistic painting abilities through the years. We miss her more than anyone could ever know.

Meet Jerry Williamson, Jerry practiced taxidermy in the 1980s coming back art about 12 years ago. Jerry’s knowledge of mounting whitetail deer is second to none and produces some of the best quality mounts in the state. As soon as I can hide the camera and catch him singing and dancing I’ll be sure to post it for your viewing pleasure 😂.

Meet George Wilson, George began the art of taxidermy in 1981. During which time he’s owned a studio in the Brookhaven area, competed for many years in Louisiana at the masters taxidermist level. Is an official Boone & Crocket, Pope & Young and Mississippi Magnolia records scorer scoring thousands of whitetail deer in his time.
George has been an asset to Fur & Fin bringing perfection and quality
