Sparky is ready for his close up! This pup is VERY food motivated and eager to please his owner. He consistently looks to his handler for guidance and direction. Good morning friends! I thought we would have a little fun this morning and play Guess that breed. This little girl is a puppy that was brought into us, she seems to be on the smaller size at 4.5 pounds. Please let us know what you think. I will post the DNA results about 10 am.

Now Lil bit is safe with Daze of Camelot Animal Sanctuary - Sandi Kean-Casebolt :) thank you guys for the work you do for senior pets!

This little dog was abandoned at night in the freezing cold in one of our local towns. It was taken in for the night and then taken to a Hands N Paws rescue volunteer the following day. We are naming the dog LittleBit. As LittleBit is an older dog in need of dental and medical care Hands N Paws contacted us, Daze of Camelot Animal Sanctuary, asking if we would accept the dog. Of course we said yes. Once the legal holding period was up LittleBit was signed over to us. At this point it is unable to eat dry food and has a very difficult time eating canned food. It is not receptive to having the mouth looked at, and we are certain all of this is due to a dental issue. LittleBit is resting comfortably with us and has an appointment Monday 1/27/25 with Dr. Redding at Pioneer Veterinary Clinic. Because of LittleBit’s age we will have a full blood panel run. This will check for kidney and organ functions to help ensure anesthesia is safe for a dental. We are sure LittleBit will be scheduled for a dental after the visit.
