For those wondering, yes the mares are still available and the yearling stud c**t. I've decided to wait to advertise Misty and rio any further until rio's papers come back fine just in case because I got paranoid. Pumpkin and Prada are still looking for homes.

Amarillo AMB is being made available, preferably to a show home, for a reasonable price. Changes in my circumstances means I won't be able to get him shown like I wanted and he's far to pretty and moves way to nice to sit here. His registration is pending DNA but I own his sire and dam so that's guaranteed. He is a 1 year old INTACT C**T. He can be gelded obviously although with his lines it'd be nice to see him used in a program.

Copied:
"I won't buy a weanling for that"

Then breed your own

"I won't buy a 2 year old for that"

Then breed your own and raise it for 2 years

"I won't buy a broke horse for that"

Then breed your own, raise it, and pay a trainer yourself

And again for the people in the back,
πŸ‘THENπŸ‘ MAKEπŸ‘ ONEπŸ‘ YOURSELFπŸ‘

Your lack of budgeting is no longer everyone elses problem..... the horse market FINALLY has made it profitable to make nice horses, and if you don't support that, then you support garbage markets that led to the reduction in quality horses being made and an influx of low quality horses hitting slaughter pipelines.

Quality breeders are finally getting their dues

Support that.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of negativity around breeding Arabians, and not just your usual people working hard to pull horses from pipelines. A lot of people are throwing up their arms and getting out and giving up because it's not worth it to them. They don't feel they can compete against the bi...

In today's adventures of organizing my calendar and fixing somethings, I realized that I'd missed both Saphira and Misty's birthday. Saphira turned 17 and Misty 19 on the same day, April 26th.

Happy belated birthday ladies!

2024 is about progress and I finally redid McGraw's webpage on our website. The rest of the website is still a work in progress, but it will be easier to add photos when we have them done this summer.

For 2024, McGraw SC will not be standing to public stud. We will be focusing on getting him tested for shipping and potentially freezing. Assuming everything checks out, he will be made available to the public again in 2025. He will be sweepstakes nominated this year which will make all foals eligible for nomination in the program. His breeding fee in 2025 will be $500 to approved mares only.

We are having him tested for shipping and will be available again for the public in 2025 via shipped cooled and possibly frozen depending on testing results

Sitting down and finalizing plans for breeding in 2024. Looking forward to it and the next couple seasons. We have fulfilled our current wait list and anticipate one sale horse next year (possibly this one pictured). 2026 though there are going to be a few and hopefully every year following as long as the interest is there.

Khing of Spades AMB, first time on a lunge line. McGraw SC kids are smart, learn quick, and are not disappointing me at all.

Yesterday we posted about Destiny but today I want to post something positive. A short clip of McGraw SC's first foal Khing of Spades AMB. He's growing to such a handsome boy.

Eurespeciale
April 19th, 1999 - March 26th, 2024

We said goodbye to our senior mare Destiny, the mare that restarted my interest in being an Arabian breeder on Tuesday. The beginning of this year has been rough but we're pushing through. We managed to purchase Destiny's daughter Eesprada a few years back to continue Destiny's legacy. We were happy to give her a landing place where she was loved on by many in her final years.

Well, we've reached a point in page popularity where the scams and creep posts are coming.

Please note that we will never reach out to anyone asking them for money. I do monitor comments so if there are comments that are not related to our page (I.E. creepy people making comments about your profile pictures like the few I deleted today) I will be dealing with them. Thank you for your continued support.

I'd like to take a moment to update a little. We've grown a lot recently and I'd like to welcome new followers. I'd also like to mention that for some reason I'm not getting notifications like I used to if you message the page. I'm not completely sure why that is but I'll make an effort to check back more often to catch your messages sooner.

Happy Foaling Season!

For anyone that wants to learn more about towing and weight distribution. I've shared this before.

I was asked a question in regards to our add. What do you mean approved mares?

So what do I look for when approving mares:
- Conformation. That's like 90% of the determining factor in approving mares. This includes looking up horses in the mares pedigree for anything that might pop up in the foal.
- Pedigree. Being that I built my program to be an out cross program, there's no limitations on the pedigree of the mare.
- The only other major thing is genetic testing and whether or not mares are a carrier for something. McGraw tested clear on SCID, CA, OAAM and LFS. Our goals are to help remove these genetic disorders from our breed. However a mare will not instantly be declined if she is a carrier. especially if she is from lines that are in jeopardy of disappearing from the breed. Just be prepared for lengthy discussions about plans on what you're going to do with the resulting foal if it ends up being a carrier.

That's it. Conformation and genetic diseases are my main focus in approving or denying mares. McGraw is still currently live cover however the plan is to get him set up for shipping this spring and summer. If you have any further questions, feel free to message or comment and I'll get back to you.
