“Bear is our loyal companion we adopted in 2020, He loves to play catch, it is the high lite of his day. Bear knows how to pray, beg and shake hands. Bear shows his love by giving many kisses and permitting us to scratch his belly. He sings "Dark Moon" with me, we are both off key, but we don 't care. We are his Moma and Papa and he is our Baby Bear!”

Where did 2024 go? We wishing everyone a Happy New Year! The clinic will be closed on Tuesday, December 31st and Wednesday, January 1st in observation.

Congratulations to this sweet girl, Libby, on being our November Pet of the Month!

“How can we possibly describe Libby in a few words? We'll try.

Libby is the best dog! And I mean the best! Interesting, playful, happy, energetic, smart, enthusiastic, friendly (mostly to people), and sweet; the perfect mix of sugar and spice.

She's quite the water dog, and has created a game she enjoys very much. It goes like this: enter the water and begin feeling around for a rock. Drag it to shore and take it up an incline. Turn and push it down the hill with front paws, back into the water. Repeat and repeat and repeat. She will swim deep to retrieve a tennis ball. Oh yes, tennis balls - her favorite toy. She especially loves the ones that squeak and will retrieve them at home until she drops.

Libby loves to go places with her family, some of her favorites being the bank, Fleet Farm, Walgreens pharmacy, and anywhere else she can count on getting a treat. She's patient waiting in the car but loves to go in! After all, she's half human in her mind. Seeing the world through her eyes gives us a fresh appreciation for each other and the simple pleasures in life.

When the doctor is away… the cat will play!!

There will no doctor on staff on Thursday, November 7th and Friday, November 8th. The clinic will be open for food or medication pick up and scheduling appointments only. We will also be closing early on both days Thursday 7th at 5:30pm and Friday the 8th at 5pm.

Friendly reminder that ticks are still OUT!! Don’t stop your flea and tick prevention just yet!

Check out the data from last winter, ticks never really went away due to abnormally warm weather! Unless it’s consistently below freezing, ticks do not leave us!

Don’t fall victim to those ticks! Year round protection is best!
