Each dog we rescue will realize what it is like to be loved! Our goal here at the rescue is to rescue these animals and give them a whole new life. When you're at Crossroads, it's time to choose a new path and let go of the road you came down. Each dog will be brought up to optimal health and obedience trained before adoption (to reduce the risk of "re-dumping").

Jen and I are busy eating all sorts of breakfast food tonight!! Gettin’ ready for this Sunday’s Funday Brunch at the Dog!!! We’re also going to kick off Stockings Save’s Dogs!!! All money goes towards food and vet costs for Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc. AND Crossroads K9 Rescue!! You stepped up and kicked butt last year!! Let’s do it AGAIN!! Come listen to live music by Late Aces this Saturday 4-7 and you might get to be a taste tester for Sunday’s breakfast fun😁🐕

We couldn't wait to post this! We are truly grateful for a man with a golden heart, Thomas Hensel for his donation of 3000.00 to be able to order the pallet of dog food! That is 65 bags of dog food!! Thank you, it is appreciated more than words can express Mr. Hensel!

With the addition of 600.00 from RAD of Wisconsin and the Jurocoi family donations, we are able to keep them fed until the pallet arrives!! Thank you all for your kindness!!!

It's time to purchase another pallet of dog food and we could use some help! The full pallet is about 3k and it lasts us about 3 months. Instead of paying 70.00/bag, the end cost is about 46.00 per bag if we purchase in bulk. Please consider donating to the rescue! We are small and don't ask for much, but we have had a few bumps in the road recently. We appreciate you and thank you for donating or sharing.

Stud alert!!! This 2 year old mali is now part of the CK9 crew! He came from right here in Wisconsin, dumped and found be an amazing person who fostered him until she connected with us. As you can see by his photos, he was in rough shape but is now ready to hit the adoption floor!

This guy is smart! He knows his basics, he loves his person(s), gets along with neutral behavior dogs, NO CATS! He is a fun dog, very engaged and loves to learn. He is not your average couch potatoe, he needs mental and physical activity! Vet checked, neutered, chipped.

King is heading to get his check up soon and ready to find his furever home! He is currently fostered wit Molly at Rebels Total K9 and is doing amazing! If you want a snuggle buddy for the winter months, this may be your guy!

We just wanted to send a big (and belated) THANK YOU to those that came and supported us at the Spaghetti Spooktacular . We raised enough money to get this crew of siblings vetted and the 2 in temporary care a check up and rabies vaccine.

This crew of siblings is ready to find furever!! Bravo, Oscar, Quebec, and Juliet are a joy to have and would make a great addition to your family!! Thank you Rolling Paws for making a pit stop at CK9 rescue!

JAEGER UPDATE! This boy ran his first 2 dog bike-jouring race with his new brother Levin and they finished in 2nd place! I'd say this boy scored the perfect home! Congratulations!

A big shout out to all.of my helpers on Sunday, especially the cutest punch maker!! Heather, Joan, Tabitha, Livvy, Jeremiah, Brynnleigh, and Chef Sean....THANK YOU for all of help! We couldn't have done it without you! Thank you to those that came and supported the puppies! We met some new people and hope to see you all at the next event!

Bravo enjoying the fall air and the leaves. Hanging out with his buddy Toby (14 yrs old) ❤️. Bravo is a tripod available for adoption. He is always happy, loves his people, learning to be less nervous around dogs, and doesn't mind cats! This boy will be a hard one to let go, but whoever adds him to the family will be lucky!

The next local business we want to shine a light on is our friends at Wisz Racing LLC ! If you have never seen them race, it is a must! Make sure you add it to your calendar in 2025! Eugene takes racing, or rubbin' is racin' to an entirely new level in the Midwest truck series! As you watch them turn left, your toes are curled and you find yourself leaning left as they speed around the track! It is always a fun night watching racing with the family!

Rainbow Bridge Day! How we miss you! Share those furbabies that have crossed

I feel there are far too many rainbow Bridge moments lately. The 3rd fur member of our original 4 has crossed the over to meet Sasha (7/2023) and Bella (6/2022). Teddy, you were adored beyond words and will be missed by so many. I hope you are chasing water hose rainbows and swimming to your hearts content. XOXOXO

A big THANK YOU to everyone that has dropped of blankets and towels this past week! The pups love a good fluffy blanket to sleep with! A huge thank you to Lori for all of the donations that she dropped off! We do love our paper towels and peant butter!

Thank goodness the weather was beautiful yesterday! Bravo and his best girl playing outside. Bravo has learned the stairs, how to use those long legs to jump the 3 foot gate and terrorize the items on the counter tops (clearly we underestimated his abilities), running outside with everyone (periodically needs a break), and most of all.....he has learned to win your heart with those big puppy dog eyes. We are heading in to the final check up and working through some nervy issues he has around large bouncey dogs before he is officially available for adoption.

You can not beat this weather! 72 degrees in Wisconsin mid April!!!

ESTIMATE IS 9200-9400.00. WE ARE DISTRAUGHT. THIS IS FAR FAR BEYOND OUR BUDGET Bravo update! Open fracture to the left humerus, multiple puncture wounds. He lost alot of blood so we are keeping him at the vet until surgery on Tuesday for monitoring and pain management. The plan is to surgically repair the fracture, amputation will be the last resort if things do not go as planned in surgery. Please keep Bravo in your prayers, your thoughts and in your heart....he has a long few weeks ahead! We will continue to ask for donations via PayPal and venmo. Snufflemat action with Ivy Jo!! Ivy is working on scent and a "find" command for her person. Tracking/scent work is an important part of her job and everyone once in a while we have to have a fun and just play (she doesn't know we are actually working 😀). It's always good to get your dog involved! A game a fetch, Frisbee, FASTCAT, dock diving, tracking, etc. You'd be surprised what they might just excel at!!
