UPDATE: Brindle Male and All Black Female puppies have homes! The other 3 and Mama still need homes!!!
!!!STORY TIME!!!!
Once upon a time, about 6 weeks ago, a young expecting maiden dog, formerly known to us as Baby Girl, was relinquished to us from a broken home.
She had experienced things on Earth that no woman, much less canine, should ever endure. Yet she was strong, resilient, and jovial.
During the following 2 weeks, we showered her with affection, food, and common decency.
She then began to whelp. The heavens blessed us with 5 young babes, while 6 perished. 2 young lasses and 3 young lads.
The young maiden was relieved to be without children. She began to live her best loved life.
It was then decided that she will don a new name, Matilda, for her new life. A life of love, happiness, and no more abuse or pain. A name of might and strength for the girl who had been through so much.
It is now we come to you with a request….
We are looking to rehome Matilda and all of her babes.
Her sweet children will be 6 weeks old on December 20th. They will be dewormed and have their first set of vaccines done. We would like proof of veterinary care of other animals in the household prior to adoption. We hope that you would consider keeping us as their primary veterinarian and if you do they get a FREE year of heartworm prevention as they age.
As for Matilda, she is a 2 yr old pit mix. We will spay her when she is fully healed from birth in about a month. So she will probably be ready for her furever home in late January. She is heartworm positive. She has been around cats and other dogs. She hasn’t shown any aggression towards either. She is fully vaccinated and dewormed. She will come with a FREE year of heartworm prevention. We HIGHLY request keeping us as primary veterinarian just because we love her more than you will ever know. We would like proof of veterinary care of other animals in the household prior to adoption. We also would like for you to come in for a consultation prior to adoption so we can discuss Matilda’s future treatment and needs.
