We had a great opportunity yesterday to host the annual Clay County Cattlemen Association meeting and field day. Producers had the chance to listen to UT Extension specialist on hay feeding and Dr Patterson gave a wonderful presentation on Vaccines. Dr Lyndsey and Dr Todd were also on hand to talk to the producers about animal health. To cap off the evening the Cattlemen Association provided a great steak sandwich for supper. We would like to thank everyone who came out to enjoy the event and everyone that helped pull this off.

We are having a field day at the farm tomorrow at 3. We are picking our replacement heifers and starting the bulls on a path to make great herd sires by fall.

I’d like to give a huge shout out to the Middle TN Ag Research Center. They just completed the annual bull test. The folks all did a great job with the bulls and had a great sale. Brie was excited that her bull Mr Happy brought $6500. The sale was ran great and the bulls look very good. I’m sure they will be many happy customers.
