Henry was a client of ours and he is a great boy :) he is very well mannered and likes to play but loves to be loved too. We hope he finds a really good home 💕

Henry is a 6-year-old, 75-pound wirehaired pointing Griffon mix who was surrendered to the shelter because his elderly veteran owner could no longer care for him. He loves people of all ages and loves to show off his energy and happy attitude. Henry gets along great with other dogs and would love to be your pet's best buddy! He enjoys the simple things in life and is very in tune with nature, preferring to skip over plush and squeaky toys and going straight for sticks! Henry is fully potty trained and ready to give you lots of love. He would do best in a home with no cats.

Henry is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. You can visit him at the shelter Tuesdays through Sundays from 8:30 to 5:00 PM!

Remember to turn your clocks back 1 hour tonight before bed.... Your dogs will wake you up in the morning because of that but then you will surprise them tomorrow at dinner time because it takes them a day or 2 to get used to the time change 🐕

Truck or Treat! Oct 31st at Motley United Methodist Church. They will be hosting a Trunk-or-Treat Event from 4p - 6p. Also watch for local businesses to have a pumpkin in their window, that will signify they have treats inside!

We have found out from a few people in Staples that there is a flea / mange issue going on in parts of the south side of town and now parts of the north side of town due to the feral / stray cat issue and we are recommending that anyone living in the area uses flea/ tick preventatives that also protect against mites on their Dogs and Cats. Even though we are getting colder weather it will not stop the spread of them so please do your part and use preventatives on your Four Legged family member and remember even if your cats don't go outside that doesn't mean that your dog or you can't bring something inside your house.
