I’m looking for a 🏡 for Charity. She’s been retired for a few years. About two years ago in Nov. she had a partial saddle thrombus in her back right side. She’s made a recovery from it with the exception of jumping high places. I recently had her heart x-rayed and cardiac enzymes ran to make sure her heart is normal. They both came back clear. She has been spayed, current on rabies, FeLV/FIV -, & PKD -. Charity loves all people men, women, & children. She doesn’t care for other cats and is bossy towards them. She loves having a lap to sit on and is constantly looking to see who is sitting down. She enjoys being brushed & loves having her belly rubbed. I think she’d do best in a home where she’s the only cat as she wants her humans full attention and will steal it from any other pet getting any. I also think she’d do best with someone that’s retired who can give her the attention she craves.

She gets along with dogs fine.

Minnow’s minuets are getting bigger by the day! They’re not satisfied with just being in my office anymore. I’m letting them out to enjoy a little special time around the dogs.

The Minuets are over a week now. Their eyes are starting to open, their coats are thick, and they are getting around. I’ve been supplementing feeding with goats milk (found at Wal-Mart), which they seem to like better than KMR (Kitten Milk Replacement).

Baby Announcment: 4 Minuets; 2 standard & 2 nonstandard. I’m loving the color of the dilute calico and blue & white baby. And as usual with my Minuet litters I had one with a mustache and one with a goatee.

Big Baby Gus enjoys a pile of anything he can lay on. He’s 👀 for his furever 🏡. He’s a loving and playful fella. Likes to make biscuts and be petted.

Last Tuesday I flew to Phonex, AZ. with Sammie so her new parents could pick her up and continue to Cali. It was my first flight with an cabin pet. Sammie did great, I was so relieved she wasn't upset the entire way. I bought Feliway to spray on her carrier and blanket in hopes it’d help her to stay calm. I think it worked.

Her parents said she claimed a day-bed, immediatly. 😆 She was an alpha kitten so I won’t be suprised if she starts claiming other things, like dog toys.

I received an update from Hindy’s mom. 🤗Hindy is now named Phoebe Biscuts Buffay! I love they put Biscuts in it. I think it’s very fitting for the little love-bug! She moved in and started charming her new family like I imagined she would.

Phoebe was a complete surprise for her new owner. The husband picked her out and kept it quiet for a few weeks until he made it home with her. What an awesome suprise for her husband to pull off!

Hindy girl made it to her new home yesterday and true to her cuddlebug personality, she started making biscuits right away.
A husband gave her to his wife as a surprise gift, he drove down here and back home without her having any idea what was going on!

Gus still wondering who is going to be his person. He has a serious nature about him. He watches what's going on around him before making moves. This doesn't take away from the kitten he is because he loves to attack feet as well.

Hindy girl's a little cuddle bug. She’s prefers to be close to people. She does a lot of purring and making biscuits. Here she made herself home in the midst of my scrapbooking mess.

This little guy’s coat coloring has a few names it’s known by. One being “torbie”, another being “patched tabby”. Torbie is short for “tortoiseshell tabby”. This lil, we call Stitch, has a back leg with fawn color & light tabby strips making him a Torbie instead of a Tortie (tortoiseshell without tabby marking). Most torbie / torties are female. Males are rare & I read usually sterile. This is my favorite coat color!!

I’ve kept a little secret in case it didn't end up in my favor. I’ve learned not to get excited about things to soon. It seemed Bojangles was never going to like a lady, I considered having him fixed. I held out hope for he’d take interest in my new girl Hazel. Sure enough he did! However, he seemed to have forgotten how to ... you know..make kittens. So, again I gave up hope because it wasn't happening. However, as my luck would have it and as things usually do happen in my life, I wasn't paying attention, had no thoughts about kittens on my mind (he didn't know what he was doing) & was distracted with others things, Hazel conceives!! Kinda how I found my husband. I wasn't looking for a man..or women. I decided to give up and be single forever at 27. 😂 I'm 47 now, it never happens in my timing. Anyway, my beautiful Hazel had a perfect singleton. I'm in love!! I'm not crazy about it’s color or pattern but I’m in love with it’s face, ears, coat density, it’s frown. The little touches of red on it's face.

Hazel is an awesome momma! She’s meant to be one.

I’'m keeping it for myselff as I’ve prayed for 4 years for one of these and I got exactly one. I’m not taking for granted I’ll get anotheer. This may have been a miracle, I know it was!!

The other two kittens were 🏠 about 3 weeks ago. I lose track of time. Charity, grouchy grandma, had a stroke two weeks ago. My husband & I got home from work at the same time and noticed Char was dragging her back left side of her body. She’d try to stand up take a step and fall over sideways. We took her into after hours care. While on the way her breathing got extremely labored. Like wide open mouthed. Dr. John was stumped, she had feeling in the hind leg, it wasn’t cool, had a pulse. He was concerned about her breathing. He gave her a bunch of stuff. We take her home. On the way home she starts vomiting and foaming at the mouth. I called Dr. Jon to see if this was a normal reaction to the meds she got. It wasn’t, he said bring her back. Bless this Dr.’s heart! We go back to his clinic and he gives her charcoal & he’s wishing he had an oxygen tent. He kept her overnight, he devised an oxygen tent for Charity to sleep in. We didn’t get home until 10:00 that night. He was with us from 5:30 until I don’t know when he left Charity. He took x-rays, all her meds, two trips to his clinic, kept her all night and the next day. Consulted with another vet. Came up with a diagnosis of Partial Thrombosis and charged $130.00. They thought it’d take Char a couple of weeks to recover but in 5 days she was jumping back in bed with me & you’d never know she’d been down now. I’m so grateful I didn’t have to have Char put to sleep. 😌
