Yoshi, Luigi, Mario, and Princess
Do you have multiple dogs? Can taking them all out at once seem like an impossible task? Or one of your dogs reactive but the others not? If you answered, yes to any of these, then you may be in the same shoes as this family here. Luigi struggled with always wanting to pull and be out front, Yoshi was uncertain of new people approaching the group, and the other two were just excited to lead the way. We had the pleasure of working with all four of them through our basic obedience program and now our e collar training making an enjoyable walk for the group possible now. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to work with your sweet pups.
Little bit of afternoon fun with Miss Holly. She is in training to be a diabetic alert dog. Always have room for a little bit of fun on the side though 🤪
This was hands down the coolest video we shot while at The Laundromutt Grooming & Boarding with the puppies this week. On leash, is Molla, the Boerboel, then you notice Fynn, The German Shepherd, joining in to do a little off leash obedience. This was the first day and only minutes after meeting all the other dogs in the video. So, when we say we work distractions, we work distractions!
Blitz looked pretty good in the lobby of The Laundromutt today. We'll show what's behind the counter later. There's a special video for that. Real Life K9 training with Real Life results. Not just in our facility, not just on our grounds. 😁
In real life, things don't always go great. Sometimes there are struggles and set backs. At Real Life K9 we'll actually show the less than perfect dogs also. No fluff here, just reality. Trainers tend to put out videos of dogs looking great. And, they should. However, what about the rest of the dogs they train? Were they successful? Probably. They just didn't look great on camera. Well, we're going to show that too. You're not alone. Not even trainers can get every dog to look amazing every time. Real Life. That's what we do here.
What do we do when we get all the pups cleaned up to go home? We take advantage of the distractions around. This is what Real Life K9 training looks like. No frills, no thrills, just work your dog. I want to give a huge shout-out to our friends at The Laundromutt for their hard work grooming the dogs and for being so generous in allowing us to use their facility and the distractions it provides. Wait for the upcoming videos...😁
Will you see picture perfect? No. Will you see dogs working thru nerves and high level distractions? Yes. Is this difficult to do with an untrained dog? Try it. Real Life training with Real Life results.
Big girl Molla showing off a little of what she's learned after 8 days of training with us. Disclaimer: Molla's owners had given us a little headstart by starting her off with a little work prior to getting her to us. But, we are proud of this big girl's progress. Ah..and, I know the video is sketchy, we're addressing that. Can you name that breed?
A little update with Teddy.
