Hi!
I made this page to keep up with the progress of The Okmulgee Cat Club - Okmoco Cat Colony TNR effort.
We recently learned we have have an elder neighbor who is totally overwhelmed with between 20-30 cats and 3 litters of kittens, all of which were dumped originally by 2 different neighbors 😮💨😤 since we are in the country, we are unfortunately outside of the coverage areas of all the established TNR programs and rescues, so they've encouraged me to organize this on my own as a grass roots effort and I'm going to do my best to make it happen 🙏
He is willing to keep feeding the colony, but we will have to help him get the cats to SPAYOK so this issue doesn't keep getting worse.
I will be posting some raffle items to help raise funds, it's going to cost about $1000 to get the cats we're aware of vetted and vaccinated, I have put it on my credit card in good faith that the community will rally and support us in this charitable work 💜🙏
