A few months back, we were emergently looking for fosters to take in Aspen and Boscoe, two senior pups who had been through a heartbreaking loss of their own. The community that continues to amaze us came through and these two went into a foster home, and began healing. This week, Aspen crossed the rainbow bridge, surrounded by her amazing foster family.

"Aspen, you may not have spent a lifetime with us, but you made an impression that will last a lifetime. No matter what you were feeling, you always greeted us with a tail wag and a smile! We will miss you sweet girl! Go run those beautiful fields with Boscoe, and know you were always loved! And, you were never just a foster to us."
