Possums Copper Penny 2007 15.2hh sorrel mare.
She is big and beautiful.

I can not say enough good things about this mare, leg her up and run her or breed her!

She has been a broodmare for the past few years but I planned on legging her up and running her this year but plans changed so I am listing her for sale.

She was a solid 1D/2D barrel horse when she was running, I exhhibitioned her in Chariton Thursday (5/4/2023) and she did amazing, she can get a little hot at the gate but is very manageable.

You will not find another barrel horse that is this nice, this reasonably priced.

She is UTD on warming, vaccinations and shoes.

Boss is a 5 year old 15.1h gorgeous big b***d gelding! This is one of my personal horses and I have owned him since he was a weanling. Boss is fancy broke and will walk, trot, lope both leads, neck rein, side passes, turns around both directions, has a big stop, laterals etc. He has all the buttons & is ready to be entered. I have hauled and exhibitioned him all summer/ fall! He is still futurity eligible.

He has been started on the poles. He would also excel in the roping pen. This horse has the athleticism and speed to be your next all-around winner!

All of the hard work has been done! He will make an exceptional 1D barrel/rodeo horse. He is quick footed and stands up in all ground types.

Loads, ties, stands for shoer, trailers good, stalls, trail rides, he is a super sweet boy, loves attention and is easy to be around. He is alert of his surroundings and will not tolerate heavy hands or constant schooling!

Barrel racing can be a very humbling sport.

It’s been a long summer full of ups and downs. Seasoning and hauling young ones is HARD!

Heck even trying to get in sync with a new horse can be VERY difficult!

Focus on the feeling of that good run and enjoy the ride.

Be thankful for the ride, find victories in the small things you and your horse do correct!

Don’t let the clock or a down barrel change the effort you put in yourself and your horse!

Be grateful for every run because they are numbered, use each run as a building block for your next run and be better then you were yesterday ♥️

That Moment.

There's a moment in time between the end of your run and when they announce your time.

When you feel you had a good run, you have a choice in that moment if you are going to let the time define you.

You felt you had a good run, but there are times when the clock doesn't reflect the same feeling we had with the run.

When the time is announced we can be pleasantly surprised, satisfied or disappointed. But the run didn't change.

Same goes for when the times stack in for placings. What everyone else ran doesn't change the feeling of your run but sometimes we will decide it wasn't that good in the end when we don't place.

In that space between when your run is complete and when they announce your time you have a choice as to how you will react to hearing your time but the run doesn't change.

Don't let the clock change the effort you recognized in your horse and yourself.

Focus on the feeling of that good run and enjoy the ride.
