Update: owner located

Found in the area of the Quail Club on 400 Rd. Very friendly coonhound type dog showed up at someone's house. Very skinny. If you recognize msg us and will get you in touch with who found it.

UPDATE: This dog is now safe at the shelter. Will put photo in comments.

FYI - 11th and Plum St has a boxer (as described to us) that keeps laying in the intersection. Was originally spotted 9th and Mulberry area by police. It has a leash still attached is the problem. Will not let anyone catch it. Just be careful going through the intersection and maybe tomorrow's daylight can better see.

The annual dog swim on September 3rd will be the last event for this pool. For 15 years, the city officials, pool managers, lifeguards, and community in general have been so supportive of this.They always let us have the pool for this event the day before it gets drained for the year. It is one of the most popular fundraisers we have. People come watch even if they don't have a dog to bring. What a bittersweet event this one will be. On behalf of all the dogs who came over the years, thank you Mt. Carmel for all the memories at this pool. Let's make it a good send off on the 3rd.
